I have not posted much but I have been reading many of the posts. I went in for my 20 week prenatal appointment today and my midwife was unable to find a heartbeat. Went for a sonogram and found out the baby had passed away. I decided then to go ahead and find out the gender. It was a girl. This would have been my 4th girl. I love having girls and prayed this was another girl. I have never had a miscarriage and I am beside myself with grief. I am currently at home waiting for labor to kick in and for her to be born. I saw an acupuncturist tonight and have taken herbs. Please pray she comes soon. Please share your stories if you have them of your loss.

So, so sorry for your loss.  No words for that.

I don't know much about labor after the baby passes away.  Do they know how long ago this happened.  My only experience was a friend living in the Netherlands and hers took over a month before it came (at six months)...her body didn't recognize the baby had passed, but the acupuncture and herbs should help with that, I'd think, right?  Again, I'm so sorry!

Georgetown, I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.

My cousin and his wife went in for their scan on Monday, only to discover their baby's heart had stopped beating. Tuesday she had to go back to the hospital for the artificial induction of labor.

I hope your body cooperates with the use of herbs and acupuncture, and that you can go into labor easily.

You are certainly not alone. Wishing you light, peace, and healing in this time of tribulation.
