I am keeping my pregnancy a secret for a little longer, although not sure how much longer I can hide this belly....Pregnancy #3 is shocking in terms of how early you pop!!! Still in shock over that....

I have been struggling with wearing my pants half unbuttoned all day at work... That is not fun b/c they keep falling down We moved about 5 months ago and a lot of my maternity clothes are still in a another state and a lot are in Oregon with my sister. I will be going to get the clothes soon, and my sister is mailing me some as well, but in the meantime i needed HELP!! Sooo...I went to motherhood maternity and the belly bands were the answer to my problems!!! They are so comfortable!!!

I just got a couple in the mail from my sister. Gonna try out tomorrow! I've been wearing stretchy pants and dresses a lot the past few weeks... I'm 10w 4d with #3 and you're right sillymom44, it's CRAZY how early I started to show. I ended up telling work at 8 weeks because I was starting to get looks. People who don't know how far along I am, just know I'm pg must assume I'm much farther along because they all ask me if I know what I'm having. I think I give them a weird look because I'm thinking, "Know what I'm having? I haven't even heard the hb yet, sheesh!"

Glad the bella bands are working for you girls.  I am personally not a fan eyesroll.gif...  They put pressure right on the spot of my lower abdomen that makes me super uncomfortable.  Right now I am wearing a pair of jeans with a hair-band to give me an extra inch or so and a long shirt lol.gif

Maybe you don't have the same type...the one i have is from motherhood maternity. It it very wide-- you pull it down over your pants so it looks like a layered tshirt and then it can be folded down or worn up high on your belly. I was so excited how comfy is was!!!

Trying one for the first time today. So far it's a love hate thing. It's actually quite comfortable- as long as I don't move too much. If I do a lot of squatting, bending, etc then my pants start to fall too low. Probably doesn't help that I am wearing a pair of pre-pg jeans that are ultra low cut and stretchy and hardly fit me before pg anyway upsidedown.gif

I'm curious about the belly band but for now I've just been wearing dresses or long tunics with yoga pants that stretch but aren't too tight.

Glad i'm not going to be pregnant during winter months when you have to bundle up!

Deciding what to wear and what to eat each day seems like such a big chore.

Is the belly band something to use to hide open zippers on pants or is it something that makes you feel more secure by holding in the bump.

I'd be curious to try one!

Yeah, I'm on the belly band train too this time.  Last time I did long shirts and stretch pants for a long while until making the step into maternity clothes.  I do tend to spend a lot of time at home in stretchy drawstring waist yoga/sweat pants.  I still fit into most of my pants so I haven't gotten out the belly bands...yet.

Babinogi- they are spandex bands (like a very tiny mini skirt). You wear regular pants, unzipped and unbottonned, and the bands smooths out and holds up the pants/skirt. I am just happy to have all my regular pants to wear to work!!
