Whatcha eating?

NOTHING sounds good and it is driving me bonkers. Thank goodness the nausea is mostly gone, but I am still losing weight and it is hurting my milk supply.

Granola with milk, strawberries and kiwi, English muffins with butter and jelly, eggs and toast, apples, clementines, apple and peanut butter.... forcing myself to eat doubke fiber bread sandwiches.... smile.gif

Way too many simple carbs--things like almond croissants and pie sound really good. Fruit is working, salad is good, eggs and bacon still tasty.

Nausea is gone, but I have a weird taste in my mouth all time which makes me want to snack to get rid of it.

orangeMoon I hear you. looking forward to enjoy the idea of a nice meal again!

things become edible for me if only I can add a sour taste to them. lemon does it, or vinegar, or salad dressing, even ketchup does it at times. this way i can even eat cooked vegetables (but in really small quantities only, they are still the hardest for me. which is a shame since in a non-pregnant state I love love love anything that's green or orange ...).

Lost five pounds over the last four weeks, and really have to watch my fluid intake to maintain my milk supply.

Sometimes I feel like even if I want to eat something/drink some water it's hard to make happen. I'm really trying though, I did a good job with fluids yesterday and it made a big difference.

For breakfast granola with yogurt and frozen blueberries worked today. Lunch is usually the easiest meal to find something good. I've been eating cajun chicken burgers with avocado, tomato, a little onion, and a garden salad. Dinner seems impossible though, like nothing sounds good so I end up eating a bowl of cereal and then a pint of icecream or doughnuts or something, for the sole purpose of trying to not lose more weight. For a while egg whites on toast was good at breakfast too.

It is indeed such a chore to figure out a meal.  I am able to eat eggs (seems like the one thing most women can tolerate), avocados.

oatmeal, Dove bars (never ate icecream before preggo), shrimp/prawns, lemon yogurt, ginger cookies, cereal...

if i don't cook it myself i can eat chicken. started eating tuna fish and had a freshly caught trout which I had to eat without thinking too much.

it seems to be getting better. wheat makes me more nauseous after i eat it.

trying to figure out what to eat and what to wear that fits is getting to be tedious!
