natrural birth and parenting on the Mississippi gulf coast

Hi! I'm Mary, mommy to Serenity 3.5 and Caidence 23 months. I've lived in South MS most of my whole life. I used to live in Vancleave and now live in Gulfport. I was wondering if anyone knew of any pediatricians who will allow accept a home birth baby, any midwives who will attend a homebirth? 

Our ped currently will allow us to delay vax until 3 yrs of age but they must be fully vaxed by school age. That's acceptable by me but it seems that NO one here uses a midwife, much less births at home. I've checked on the mana website and on the NP website and I come up with NADA!! Can anyone help me???

Hi Mary! I can hook you up with a Ped that I was told is ok with home birth...and she's in Gulfport ;) Also, a DOULA in Ocean Springs if you'd like to speak to her and ask questions/get valuable support from. Also, there are three midwives in Gulfport. I'll share info by PM if you don't mind.
