Just wondering if anyone has tried freezing avocado, and if so how it turned out? I go through 2 a week, and if they weren't so expensive we would go through more. I was thinking if I could get a ton on sale, let them get nice and ripe, cube them, and freeze them it would be an economical way to get more avocado into our grocery budget. Maybe "fresh" like on salads it wouldn't be the best, but what about blended into fruit smoothies, in guacamole, with scrambled eggs, etc.?
Any thoughts or suggestions?
