I know A LOT of the midwives in the DFW area that have gone through this program, but I have not gone through it myself.

I would suggest speaking with some of the staff/students at Family Birth Services in Grand Prairie. They can give you a good idea of what it's like, and the pros and cons. smile.gif

Jenny Fardink did this program: http://www.treeoflifebirthcenter.org/about-us.html

I graduated from ATM over 4 years ago now.  My understanding is that they have completely redone the program for the better since then.

I started off doing NARM's PEP process, and then ended up switching to ATM- I'm very glad I did. You can message me any questions.

I am currently in the ATM program and I love it. I am starting my 4th module out of 7. I feel I am getting a very good education in the program. An extremely high percentage of graduating students pass the NARM on the first sitting. This last group of graduates were 7 strong and all passed the NARM. I have interviewed for two apprenticeships and both said that being in a program such as ATMMTP is a BIG plus. In other words, being a student at ATM will help you get an apprenticeship. I strongly recommend this course of action.
