Dr. Fischbein is great!!  He was my back up OB when I had my first homebirth.  He was unavailable after my first because of being in Camarillo, etc.  We were in Santa Monica at the time.  Anyway, loved him.  Good luck with your vbac!  Mary

Have you considered traveling a bit? Your labor will probably be a longer traditiional "first mom" type birth. Almost all of the hospitals in Los Angeles at least say they do VBACs. What about Ventura County?

I realize that this is a dated thread, but I just wanted to give OP my recent experience with Dr. Fischbein. I was so happy with all of my prenatal care with Dr. Fischbein, but during my TOL he was phenomenal as was his midwife support. My VBAC attempt was unsuccessful and required a non-emergent transport to the hospital, but my experience was so awesome and he was instrumental in that!
