Help me choose good coconut oil

I am wanting to make my own toothpaste, and the recipes I see use coconut oil.  How do you choose a good coconut oil?  Should it be raw?   Cold pressed?  Organic?  The kind I am looking at is Earth Circle Organics.

What are some other benefits of coconut oil?  If I'm going to have it in the house I might as well use it for other things too, so how else can we consume it?

If you go to wellnessmama's blog you can look up her article on coconut oil. She has a list of 160 uses for coconut oil. You can just slather it on in place of lotion, I use it under my arms in place of deodorant, you can take it by the tablesppon for all kinds of stuff, mix it with olive oil and wash your face with it, mix it with sugar and use it as a scrub, for "toothpaste" I just mix it with baking soda and my whole family, including the toddler, uses it. It is good for reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks. She has tons of stuff listed in her article. Check it out. I think it's wellnessmama.com.
