Freeze warning, new lettuce srouts in ground, do I need row cover?

I planted some lettuce last week and I've got a couple tiny seedlings this morning in the raised bed.  We've got a freeze warning for tonight.  Do I need to worry about my greens?  What kind of quick fix can I do here?  If I want to toss some row cover on (which I would have to go to the store to buy), can I just lay it over the bed or do I need to make a hoop?

You could use stakes and bedsheets, really, or a rubbermaid tote flipped over on the beds.
