I have been following the Child Led Weaning thread since I joined MDC in 2010. Lately, I have noticed a lot of people posting about "Baby Led Weaning" in the CLW forum. BLW has to do with introducing solids to babies, giving them chunks and pieces instead of purees, etc. I think that members/posters are confusing CLW and BLW, which are two very different things. (The name "baby led weaning" is misleading, it isn't about weaning at all! It should be "baby led feeding", but that is another issue!)
I was thinking that it might be worthwhile considering a BLW sub forum in the natural family living forums, maybe under nutrition and good eating? BLW has really nothing to do with breastfeeding or CLWing. It is becoming more and more popular. I know
I had this confusion myself when I first joined MDC (as we were doing BLWing at the time, and I had questions myself) but realized that the CLWing forum was not the right place after reading other posts.
