With this pregnancy, I started out at 135, right in the normal range of BMI. I lost about 15 pounds during the first trimester from insane morning sickness, down to 120. I'm almost 30 weeks now, and am up to 146, or 6 pounds above my prepregnancy weight. Most of that was gained during the early/mid second trimester. But now my weight gain has slowed to the point of stopping. The last two weeks I haven't gained at all, the week before only gained a half pound. I know my baby is healthy, strong (active!), and growing on-target. So I have to assume that the weight maintain means that I'm personally losing weight, and that baby-related things are gaining, and that keeps the balance there.
Is that a correct assumption? Should I be concerned about not gaining, and what should I do about it?
Thanks for reading. :)
