We're having a BOY! (and a terrible time finding a name we like.)
Does anyone know what they're having? - Page 4
20 week u/s today said girl. Which I want to believe! But we didn't get those telltale three lines, at least I never saw them and they didn't show up on the printout. The (experienced, u/s specialist) sonographer was very confident, but I think I'm nervous about trusting that and finding out in 20 more weeks that it was wrong. Anybody else in the fuzzy picture boat?
We are having a little girl! While DH and I were both primarily concerned about having a healthy baby, we have many more nephews than nieces and were hoping for a daughter. Squee, a daughter! I'm a babymomma to a daughter, how crazy is that? I can't think about it for too long, brings tears to my eyes. Imagine a little toddler girl in a baby swimsuit toddling along with diaper butt, awwwwww. We're going to call her Mae. I love our little pumpkin muffin to pieces already.
Sorry had to gush.
Congrats everyone!! Calpurnia7, i loved reading your post. Reminds me of how i felt when i first found out DD was a girl-- at her birth, and everyone thought she was going to be a boy and they convinced me even though i had dreams she was a girl. Anyway, I was so excited!!!! You had to pinch me for it to be real because i was on cloud nine! And yeah, she does look adorable in a swim diaper tucked under her swimsuit!!! Big congrats on your news, i'm really happy for you!!
We found out today that we're definitely having a boy!!! I can't wait to put the little guy in a little blazer!! Hahah. DD took it really well, considering she has been saying mostly that she wants a baby sister. She actually looked super happy at hearing it's a brother and she did a little dance. And i love how in the ultrasound picture i can already see he has the same head shape as DD, and the mouth and nose of Daddy. Thanks for letting me share here. We're not telling anyone we know till we see certain people in person in a week from now. They guessed girl, so i'm excited to see their reactions!
