Eek. This brings back memories. With my last hospital birth, I was not allowed to leave with the baby until a social worker decided I wasn't being "negligent." (We had tried for a UC and refused vaccines) At the time, I wasn't the least bit worried, being so in love with the new baby and all, but now I see how bad it could have been. Scary.
