Lisa Block Wiser has passed away.

Lisa Block Wiser, CNM founder of Whole Birth Midwifery, the only Certified Nurse-Midwifery home birth service in Tucson passed away at home on March 23, 2012.  She was 52 and the victim of a sudden heart attack.  There will be a midwives/ clients memorial for her in the near future.  Please contact other midwives in the Tucson area for further information.  We are all greatly saddened by this loss- both for her family and the midwifery community in Tucson.

I am just heartbroken by this news.  She delivered my fourth child a year and a half ago.  Amazing woman, amazing midwife.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Would you mind posting info on her funeral or messaging me?

I have no further info. I heard about this from a couple people and I've shared here everything I know.
