how does semen affect CM?

quick question...starting to TTC again. does semen affect the consistency of CM? i was noticing an increase in CM on tuesday and TTC'ed on tuesday and wendesday. did not check CM because i didn't want to disturb anything but i didn't notice EWCM just "leftovers". now i'm noticing the EWCM is back in full force. does this make sense? in general how does semen affect the consistency of CM?

It does effect CM....in the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", it says to do kegels exercises 30 min after BDing to remove the leftover semen.  By that time, the sperm will have made it's way up through the cervix.  I personally wait until the next morning to do this, just in case the sperm is slow! hhaha....thats if we BD at night, which we usually do.
