I started a post similar to this so I apologize but i really need some opinions... I have tested 5 times ( I know that si probably crazy, but I am having a lot of trouble beleiveing this is real). Last night I tested and got my brightest positve yet. It was brighter than the test line. However, I feel A -symptomatic. My breasts were sore at first and I have had some sensation (not cramps but just feeling) in my uterus over the week. The sensation continues but the breast soreness is gone. I haven't spotted or anyting, but i wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry if you aren't spotting.Every pregnancy is so different. With my first i had no symptoms for at least 8 weeks. With my second it was immediate and with my third i had a week of morning sickness from 9-10 weeks and that was it.

Thank you

Thank you. I just need some kind of reassurance from someone who who knows something about this.

Relax! If you are going to miscarry, worrying will do you no good. But most likely, everything is fine. Trust your body to do what it was designed to do. Go sit quietly and talk with your baby. Tell "him" how much you love him and how excited you are to have conceived. Take slow deep breaths, let your body relax, and connect with your babe. Let him know you are listening, and you hope you can enjoy the journey together, whether it lasts only a few days or many years.

It may sound kooky, but you need to find your center to feel peaceful and relaxed, and connecting with your baby is a great first step. If you haven't already, you should consider starting a prenatal yoga routine.

I agree. With my first, I had almost NO symptoms, and certainly not until I was 6 weeks or so. No breast tenderness, no nausea. I might have peed a bit more, but I think it had mostly to do with the fact I was drinking more water. The extent of my morning sickness that whole pregnancy consisted of an aversion to the smell of cafeteria food in the morning.

This time... I am SO SICK. Not vomiting, but super nauseous. This will be baby 3, though I've had one "probable miscarriage" at around 7 or 8 weeks, and a chemical pregnancy. Each time the symptoms are different.

When I was pregnant with both of my boys, I had no symptoms at all! I would have never known I was pregnant except my belly began to expand :LOL
That, and with my second I was so tired all the first trimester

to you!

Yes. I will send you my prenatal yoga tape. As your older sister I demand you relax or I will frog the crap out of you next time I see you.

nannymom,
try to relax. i didn't have any major symptoms with my first pregnancy either. looking back, i guess i was pretty tired but really the only telltale symptom was the growing belly. even at 14 weeks, i still didn't feel 'pregnant'

i'm hoping this one goes as smoothly!!!

I was gonna ask some of the same things. I am about 4 weeks or so and have a little achiness in my back and some very minor crampy sensations, but no spotting and no other symptoms other than having to pee every 5 minutes..

ETA: My other pregnancies were pretty textbook as for symptoms, including nasty ms with my dd

Should I be worried?

Butting in and not at all a December mama but no, that sounds totally normal. Crampiness is normal because believe it or not your uterus is already starting to stretch out and the back pain can sometimes just be deferred uterine pain. You're still kind of early to have morning sickness, I bet it will kick in in a week or two!

Thanks so much for the reassurance, Amy. You would never know that I just went thru this all last year!

I didn't have any ms at all with ds.. but dd about killed me every time I THOUGHT about food or smelled anything even semi strong until I was almost 5 mos!

I am not really nauseous either.. Just really tired. OH and my boobs feel like they want to roll off onto the floor... Now that one's a bit strange. I have been wearing those tank/shelf bra thingys for like 3 or 4 weeks now because the real bras all hurt.

There were a few days when the breasts didn't feel so badly but only a handful. Otherwise, I truely feel great.
