Yeah.. I agree!  I can't imagine leaving my young kids for 4 days!   I left Cyan for two days when he was 2.5 YEARS old with Grandma.  I only did that because he has a very flexible personality and I knew he'd be fine.  I still wouldn't leave Olivine for that long and she's almost 3.

I'm glad you made the decision to try antidepressants. Not because I'm saying you need them, but because I'm glad you are going to try something new to help yourself. I hope they help!

Yeah... The longest I've ever left my 3 yo was during labor... for 5.5 hours.

 

I would leave him with my DH if I had to go somewhere.  But anyone else?  I don't know.  It would have to be a really good reason for me to leave.  I'm not opposed to other people leaving their kids- to each his own- but with my personality and my son's personality I am just not comfortable with it yet.
