TreasureMap & the Squares of 2012

I didn't want to derail the TMap thread but a couple of people, are feeling some of the Astrological tension of 2012.  

Just to clarify, there are two planets, Uranus and Pluto who are forming a tense aspect called a square.  They will form this square 7 times between now and 2015.   The first two rounds are in 2012 (June & September).  

The last time these two squared each other was in the early 1930s. 

Then in the 1960's the two planets were on top of each other (called a conjunction).  This started in 1963 and peaked in 1965, 1966.    If you don't know much about history, the early and mid sixties launched a world of changes.   There would be no late 60's and 70's had the things that took place in the early 60s.

The squares that we going through now and until 2015 are tied as well to the early 60's.  And it doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to see the similiarity with rallies, marches, and fights to end inequities both racially and financially. 

It is a big ol' agitated time.

So, what does this have to do with the Treasure Map?

The Treasure Map New Moon at the end of March was right in the sore spot where Uranus and Pluto are going to do batte.  The Aries New Moon was speaking to us about our future on the other side of the changes that will start to unfold this summer.  For some people they got the message clear.  New homes, new jobs, new lifes.   For others they were unclear, there is something bubbling in them but they can't put their finger on it.    And others, know they need to make changes but can't get there.  It is as if they have a fancy Ferrari in the driveway  but no keys.  They are going to have to make those keys. 

And of course there are people who know changes need to be made but are too scared to do it. 

More is going to be revealed but I encourage anyone feeling the tension and pressure to start embracing the changes they need to make bit by bit...

Thanks Tracy. I am definitely feeling the pull towards change. My mind has been racing a lot throughout the last few weeks. I feel like there's a lot that I need to do to "get ready." I alternate between freaking out trying to figure out all the steps, and just marching through as many projects as I can that I feel would be beneficial to my endgame. As a result, a lot of things are getting done, but I just don't know yet how all of those small things will add up in the end. I have a vision for where I want my family to move forward, but there are so many avenues that lead in that direction, that it's hard to figure out what path to take. Right now the most obvious road is also the most sketchy, so I'm trying to use judgement and keep an open mind.

Do you think you can explain to us a little more about what Uranus and Pluto symbolize, and what a "square" does with their energies? Also, you said in the 60s that it was a conjunction of Uranus and Pluto... but not a square, so can you give a little more insight as to how this time and the 60s interrelate astrologically? What is the difference in shifts when it comes to squares and conjunctions? I find astrology fascinating, yet have really not delved into the subject at all. I really appreciate all of your knowledge, and I respect you very much for sharing it with us. Thank you again.

The conjunction that occurred in the 1960's was the birth.  Uranus and Pluto were together in Virgo and gave birth to a new beginning.  Like all births, it was a bitch.   1963-66 highly tulmultous.    But it was the beginning.  Now nearly 50 years later we are on the Square.  It takes that long to get to this point.   Those seeds planted in the 60's are now being tested.   Do we want to be Green?  Do we want racial equality?  Do we want fairness?   World Peace?    Unpopular wars?   These attitudes have their roots in that period and now we have to test them.    Just look at the news---Zimmerman/Fla, Global Warming, hottest decade every recorded,  warmest winter, and even the factory that makes Apple products is being questioned, then not questioned, then questioned again for work ethics.     If one didn't know it almost seems like 1965 again.   And more to point, if you look back on January 1961 when Kennedy was innaugareted and juxtepose it to a short 10 years later (make it 11) to 1972 at Watergate and ask how much the world changed?   

Of course, every decade brings monumental changes but this period will cut to the bone because we feel in in our bones. 

The last square in the 1930's people felt in their bones.  In the 1800's there were two waves of squares--one in the 1830's and the other in the 1870's both had huge upheavals (England dealing with Catholics in particular)  (USA's slavery issue becoming more and more pronounced) and they both had financial skids.    

Anyway, these are all global issues, but what does it mean to all of us personally?   It depends on where you have Aries and Capricorn in your natal chart.  And even if you don't know your chart--I promise you everyone is feeling the pressure.    There feels like there are 2 worlds colliding.    One of them is begging you to stretch and get out there and be brave.  And the other is saying, "hang on to the status quo".  

The answer is to get them to move in concert.  HA!  Easier said than done, I know.

But the bottom line is we are all feeling the pressure.  We have until 2016 to move with it.

we decided a few months ago that we would move back home in June. DH now has a second job offer in  the same location and we are having a tough time deciding to take the new or stay with the old.  He's only had his current position for a year.. He feels ready to make the change, and I am holding back but dont know why. I tear up everytime I think about it.  What gives?!

It's hard to say. He always suffers from "grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome. Currently he is an associate manager at Cracker Barrel Restaurant. He interviewed with Bob Evans before taking this position, and turned them down. They came back to him last month asking if he'd reconsider as they changed some things around. He would be a GM at a location no more than 30 miles from our new home, but we don't know which one and we were trying to base where we moved on where he was put. As general manager, he obviously has a lot more control (he currently feels powerless to change anything as his GM undoes what the AM's do by unfiring, rehiring, or not following through). He also has a lot more responsibility. His days off would always be Monday and Tuesday, whereas now he gets a friday, saturday and sunday off every month. his days off are also non consecutive, which has worked out great for us. 1 day isn't long enough to trash the house or disrupt our routine, whereas 2 in a row is. He already expressed how much he misses our oldest daughter because she is in school on his days off.

I just got accepted at a university to finish my bachelors in biology. I've finally admitted to myself that I want to be a physician. His change will have zero impact on this because we are moving to be by my school and grandparents (free babysitting). The chances of him being promoted to GM at cracker barrel at the store he is supposed to transfer to is less than 4%. He is going to be married to whatever location he lands at for the 3 years it takes me to finish. So 3 years to be "in charge" at least or in charge right now.

So... I guess I don't know. I feel like crying again.

Interesting! Here is where my family has been at…

In late January we received notice that our landlord wanted to renovate his home and we were being “evicted”. We had been living there for 10 years.  At first we were shocked. Now we realize what a moldy place it was and we had accumulated too much stuff.

In February the stress of the move and our lack of finances hit a nerve with me. I basically freaked out and almost left DH. Miraculously, this lead to not only us staying together but a huge instant shift in our marriage. We feel like we are dating again J

In early March we applied for a place that was just up the street. It isquite a bit smaller than our current place but had everything we needed: same school, garage, yard for a garden, fireplace and cat friendly. It’s cheaper and more energy efficient. And NO mold. We just finished moving in and we love the place!

One issue we had was DH not looking for a job after I have asked him to return to work many times. Now he is finally on board and applying for jobs. I really hope the universe will deliver.
