Nursing Mama's TTC- April - Page 3

Arghhh.  The test I took this morning was a BFN or maybe the lightest of light lines.... I cant see it with my eye, but I can see the shadow of it when I manipulate it on my phone.... I am hoping to get a blood test today and know for sure.  My chart looks good, I may have implanted 2 days ago (which makes sense that I wouldn't have a very visable BFP at this point).

AF arrived in full force today. And, boy, am I cranky! It's not so much that I'm not pregnant—I'm just a mess of hormones.

Anyhoo, please move me to waiting to O, DD18 months, 2nd PPAF. Thanks!

Aw, sorry northwoods!! At least your cycle seemed pretty good and normal, right? Hope you feel better soon!

chloes mama - Still hopeful for you. Maybe your urine was more dilute this morning for some reason? Keep us updated!

I am still here.... not sure what is going on except that I don't think I'm going to be able to wait until Friday. I think I will be testing again in the morning ato 10dpo...

Sorry about af northwoods.

I got a blood test done but they said it would be 24-48 hours beforr the results are back.... what??!!!!

I am dying here. I may be 9 dpo or 11dpo. My longest lp has been 10-11really days but i took b6 this month it may make my lp 12 days or longer.

Yup...wait and wait.

Sorry northwoods! At least you have a cycle going and you know there will be a chance this time around!

Chloe'sMama-That sucks! The waiting part, I mean. I'm the worst with seeing lines when there are none but hopefully your bloodwork will come back positive! Like you said, it's still early to get a line anyway.

Looking forward to hearing your morning results OSUvet!

I'm still...where I am. I've been checking my fertility with the saliva microscope every morning. Nothing so far. I'm pretty sure I haven't even ovulated yet. I nightweaned on March 3 and dropped DS naptime nursing on March 24. I do have a lot of EWCM.....but I'm not ovulating according to my saliva. Did anyone else have that before getting their ppaf? Also, my nipples are tender again.

Arghhh.  I got the results from the blood test.... negative.... but, they did the qualitative test (just measures positive if over 25).  If I was at 9 dpo or 11dpo, both could be negative.  So irritated by this whole mess.

Anyways, decided against a HPT this morning with that news.  I will test again if AF doesnt show in the next few days,  like I said, my longest LP has been 11 days, but I am taking B6 this month and it could make it so much longer.... Temp is still way high this morning.  I may be at 10 or 12 dpo.

Letileon-  My first ppaf cycle with DD1 was very similar to that.... and my first cycle after my miscarriage (we caught the first egg, but only made it a few days) with DD2 was so many patches of EWCM and tender nipples etc.   Hoping it comes soon.

That sucks! Sorry to hear the test was negative, Chloe'sMama! But doesn't that happen sometimes? I guess I've read lots of people say they had a negative blood test but were sure they were pregnant and found out later by hpt.  I hope your right and that maybe you just implanted late. I read that sometimes it takes two weeks after implantation to have enough hcg for a urine test.

Aw sorry chloesmama that's frustrating!

letileon I had lots of EWCM off and on during the month or two before I got my first ppaf.

AFM - BFN this morning. On a FRER. And my temp was down some this morning but who knows how accurate that is since my 14mo DS woke up puking at 6am :( I could imagine a very faint pink line but.. yeah I'm pretty sure it was imaginary. I think I am 10dpo. DH is still convinced I'm pg but I have a feeling I'll be out in a couple days. Who knows tho - a lack of symptoms means nothing to me since basically the only symptom I had my whole first pregnancy was a growing belly! Argh waiting waiting waiting to know for sure...

ChloesMama - I'm still hopeful for you- even if you don't end up with a BFP, your LP is lengthening back to "normal", which will help a future baby stick! Your chart looks great.

As for me, I'm waiting to O, just on CD7, so I have at least a week, probably more. Nothing exciting going on here. I'm kind-of nightweaning DS- after each nursing session at night, DH is taking back to his crib rather than cosleeping next to me. Everyone (well, except DH) is sleeping more, so we're pretty happy with the arrangement. This has cut out some of his night nursing, though it's still 2-3 times night. I'm hoping a nice side effect will be a longer LP for me, because DS isn't attached all.night.long.

Hi,

I'm officially trying to conceive.  DS is 9 months old yesterday.  Still awaiting first postpartum aunt flow, but hoping to catch the first egg!

OSUvet, sorry about the BFN! They're always disappointing. Can't believe, however, that you had no symptoms the first time around! That's crazy!

Hello AnkaJones! Good luck catching the first egg!

HopefulJo- I agree. Nightweaning (at the appropriate stage) can be a big relief. DS still wakes to nurse once around 5am...I'm thinking of scrapping that one soon in hopes that he sleeps all night. Last night he slept for 9 hours straight! That's a new record for him!

Plus..I am super excited that DS started using the potty this week! We really didn't encourage it, just made it available to him. Super proud of my big boy!

Temp dropped and af started today. Please move me to waiting to O.
3rd pp cycle, 3 months ttc, dd1 3.75, Dd2 19 months

Thanks for all the support and obsessing with me.

On a good note, lp lengthened to 10 or 12 days.

Sorry to hear it Chloe'sMama....

Hi! Can I join you ladies?  I have 6 children and TTC #7.  I've been nursing for almost 14 months and havent had PPAF yet.  Hoping to catch that egg first!

I'd like to join you all!  My DD is 19 months, and I'm still waiting for AF to return.  I hope we catch the first PP egg, but I'm guessing I may be around for a while since it took 6 months, 2 months, and 6 months to conceive my previous three pregnancies.  I'm starting to get antsy about having my fertility return, but DD is such a booby monster, so who knows how long it will take.  Good luck everyone!

Jules- It would be fun to be in another DDC together!  Lets do it! ( I just got my first PPAF in January after a Chemical Pregnancy).

Hello Jules09 and MommyKlein! Good luck to you both.

What is DDC?

I have no news, just wanted to say that as I don't believe I will ovulate unless I completely wean (DS nurses twice every 24 hrs) I have decided to wean him in June. He will be 2 on July 1st so that's the two year recommendation. It's also partly because I've decided not to nurse during pregnancy. I feel that DS got all of my resources when I was pregnant with him and that I'd like to give that to the next child as well. That being said, I hope I can still hang around here on the Nursing Mama's TTC thread! If I get pregnant before then that's great, but I just don't see any signs that make me think I'm going to get a ppaf. It's a bummer but since I don't want to nurse during pregnancy anyway, I might as well wean him when he's two so I can get my cycle going again.

DS is showing signs that he will be able to accept it soon since I've slowly started the weaning process. I feel proud of how far we have come (considering how difficult our start was) so that's great!

Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there. Hoping there'll be some BFP's for you ladies very soon!!
