Queer & Pregnant & Parenting - April, May, June! - Page 15

Isa~ Sorry, but I'm cracking up at that sad baby with goats. That's quite a DO NOT WANT face she's making there. And I love that little owl top!  Was it you lo those many moons ago who coveted my owl pajamas and then got a pair of your own? I still love those pjs.  And kitties~ lord. We'll be gone about six weeks, so it should cost roughly a million dollars, plus extra for Iggy's therapy. I'm sorry that your MIL is there for so long and ready for you two to have lots of meaningful time ('cause, yeah, you got nothing else to spend your time on...) Well done and lucky you with your super chill baby. I hear you about leaving the house, though. The first time Ace and I went out on our own I imagined all kinds of horror. It worked out, though.

Threadcrashing!!!

Isa - are you kidding me with that face?! And that OUTFIT!!! AHHH! Need. It.

With that being said Library it was me who loved, and then got, the owl pj's winky.gif

Isa--The outfit looks sooo cute on her! I'm happy I could pass it on! She'll probably outgrow it in about 3 seconds, like Baby S did, but at least you got good pics. I LOVE the face she is making in the goat picture! Best to you with the mama-drama. Sounds stressful. Remember, you can always use the baby, laundry, lack of sleep, I-just-had-a-baby-and-am-way-too-hormonal as a tool for avoidance of the issues. I don't generally advise people to sweep relationship issues under the rug, but having a brand-new little one is a huge adjustment and you have the right to table the discussion to a time that works out better for you. Okay, I have to look at the picture again now--EJ is so tiny and CUTE! Good luck with having DP out of town too!

Sara- When you are so close to the end of your pregnancy anxiety sets in and your only desire is to meet that little baby. Please trust me when I say it's best to enjoy the little time you have left feeling your lo kick and squirm inside of you. It's a feeling and bond unlike any other and I can assure you it will be missed. You have the rest of your life to look into the beautiful eyes of your baby but we only have 40 weeks to prepare them for the outside world. Relax a little, the time will definitely come when Soren decides he is cooked to perfection. Hope you're doing ok and hanging in there.

Isa- Thanks for sharing more lovely pictures of Edith. However, I do not believe she is a big fan of goats! ROTFLMAO.gif I'm glad she's a calm baby. I also worried about taking L out in the car (crying, tantrums) but she was very good and did not even stir. As soon as I got over the fear we were good to go. We take her every where, without second guessing it. How is E sleeping and eating? How are you and DP?

Library- Ace is adorable and getting big. I love her red hair! DW gets mad because people keep saying that L's hair is red (she says it's blond) and looking at Ace's hair just confirms that L's hair is not red. Sending lots of calming vibes to your DP as she defends her dissertation. We wish you weren't so far away so that we could of kept an eye on the kitties for you. Hope it all works out.

Isa: She's too cute! Enjoy your time with your mil as much as you can!

I'm enjoying the end of the pregnancy, I swear it. I am just so eager to meet this guy I want him to come out! Shay kicks me loads in the belly, so I'm sure I wont miss that. I just don't feel him punch me in the cervix like a certain someone is loving to do. Shay even stands on my ribs, so I wont miss the tiny feet in there either. HAHA

Went to the doc today (38 weeks today). I'm 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. Moving right along!

Sara's water broke at 2:30 this morning. Contractions started right after. We are going to pack for the hospital now because we're slackers.

Dear Sara: Lennon's bday is tomorrow, if you could just hold off delivering until then I would really appreciate it. Love, Raegan. Go Sara!!

Yellow, no way! We just get to have the party be 2 days long!

She is getting an epidural now. She didn't want one but they are really bothering her now. She's feeling discouraged that she is 4 cm and she's been working on it so long. Her contractions started about 10 minutes after her water broke.

My mom was supposed to keep Shay, but she is in Nashville! My little sister has him right now with plenty of milk and diapers but he is not a happy boy.

Seraf and Sara- We are on the edge of our seats waiting for the news of the arrival of Soren. 4 cm. down, 6 to go! Sending lots of love your way. grouphug.gif

Seraf, I had an epidural too, after 14 hours of natural labor (and 2 hours of Pitocin). It sounds like Sara is doing what's best for her.

So excited to hear more about Soren's birth!  And I'm sure Shay will be fine with your sister.

Go Saras!!  How exciting!  Hope Shay hangs in there with your sis, Seraf--that must be stressful for you in the midst of everything.  Sara: epidural or no epidural, you are doing it!  Way to go!  Bring that boy into the world!  Can't wait for more news...

Nos: CONGRATS. AGAIN. (hint, hint)
