Congratulations KS!!! I'm glad you both are doing well!!
Hey Everybody!!! On Monday June 25, 2012 at 9:59 am we welcomed our Beautiful, Perfect Baby Girl into this world! She was born via C-Section at 7 lbs 12 oz and 19 in long! We were released from the hospital yesterday and we are both doing great! My C-Section recovery is going so much better than I ever anticipated, I was even able to get a real shower today. My wife and I are both sleep deprived (which is to be expected) but we are so over the moon and in love with our baby girl! I will be checking back in in the next couple of days with my birth story but here are a few pics to tide you all over
We would like to formally introduce Riley Sophia:
Brite! congratulations!!!! It brought tears to my eyes to see you two finally holding your little one. I am so happy for you two and glad you are healing well!!! =] =] =]
Hi everyone!!! I'm not sure where to start.. DP and I are on a "break" stil living together at my dads but I wont stay here long. I thought I wanted to be without her but now that I know we are not together and she is okay with that I feel so sad. I am sad all of the time. I'm sad about my mom (cancer) and I was sad about being with DP but now I am sad about being without her. I feel she truely does not care about me. With all the saddness I of course made an appointment with my dr, Cohen deserves his happy mommy and I dont want to be sad all the time. I am just so unsure of what I want.
Dandy, wow, I'm so glad you're all safe and sound! I'll be thinking about you, your DP and Adair (great name!) and sending love and hope as you go through this. Congratulations and welcome to the world, Adair!
Crystal: I'm sorry you're still struggling. I think it's natural to feel sad being without DP even if it might be the best thing. Just because things might not work out doesn't mean you don't love her! Hang in there and take care of yourself. It sounds like you are doing what's best for you and Cohen.
Afm: I updated on the ttc board last night as I didn't want to distract from Brite's birth announcement. I got my 2nd beta back and was utterly shocked to see that it had doubled in about 37 hours - it was 545. So I'm past the first hurdle. The RE's office called me yesterday so I need to call them back today. I'm assuming they'll want to set up the 7 week u/s to check for viability. I'll be 7 weeks on July 16. That seems like a lifetime away. I believe my due date will be March 4 if I do indeed get there. That seems like 2 lifetimes away.
Wow, we had a lot of activity around here in the last 24 hours!
Congratulations to Brite, Dandy, KS, and KS's surrofamily! Brite, I love the pictures of you and your partner and the LO together...and KS, I am waiting to hear the birth story!
Dandy, it sounds like an overwhelming experience but I'm glad that everyone is doing well and that you were able to have a natural birth. Whatever feeling (or mix of feelings) you're having is the right one for you at this time. We will be sending lots of positive energy and are eager for Pickle updates. And updates on how you and DP are doing, too!
Crystal, I'm sorry that things aren't working out with your DP. But I'm very pleased that you are taking such good care of yourself and Cohen and that you're seeing your doctor. You're right, Cohen deserves a happy mommy, but you also deserve to be happy for YOURSELF.
Seraf, thanks for giving me your thoughts as another WOHM! You're right, once a month is probably plenty for a new group getting off the ground. As for my spouse, he's not as much of an organizer and "joiner" as I am :) , but he recognizes that A should have some activities and socializing once she gets a little older. There's also the complication that we have only one car, and I need it for work. This is another reason why I'd like to be in a more urban area - better public transportation...
Carmen, I'm so glad to hear the news about your beta doubling! I can imagine your next US seems like an eternity away, but keep putting one foot in front of the other, right?
Hope you all have a good weekend if I don't hear more from you!
wow, there's been a baby explosion in the last day!
KS - glad to hear you are doing well, congrats on a healthy delivery!
Brite - she is beautiful!! welcome little Riley! you looked very loved already, what sweet pictures!!
Dandy - what a surprise, welcome Adair! i hope your NICU stay is smooth and he is able to come home on schedule.
Crystal - i'm glad to see you taking care of yourself, but im sorry this time is so painful. hoping for smoother waters ahead
Carmen - wooohoooo!!!!! beautiful beta!
AFU, things are moving along smoothly. im 17 weeks now, which seems crazy. this pregnancy is speeding by!
Welcome Adair! You just couldn't wait to meet your wicked cool mamas, eh? Well, Pickle, settle in and be well and thrive, thrive, thrive!
Carmen ... THRILLED to hear the news! Keep us posted!
Crystal ... I'm sorry to hear about the emotional rollercoaster that you're on. Take good care of yourself and Cohen, and be mindful of the bigger picture here and all the heartache that also came with being WITH your dp. I believe you have a wonderful, joy-filled life ahead of you, and that you deserve the best. I'll be thinking of you and Cohen.
Brite - I was so happy to see the pictures of you and DP and your beautiful new baby girl! I know you've had to endure a lot of heartaches and dispointments along the way, but she is in your arms now. Congratulations and happy healing.
KS - Congrats to you on bringing that baby into the world and to her parents. Happy healing to you too!
Dandy - Wow! That is a whirlwind and a worrisome one at that. I'm glad Pickle is strong and doing well. I'll keep all of you in my thoughts as he gets stronger and healthier. That's tough, but it can be a blessing when he has wonderful people to care for him. Take care of yourselves.
Crystal - Your partner sounds kind of like my ex. She was depressed and insecure. She would say mean things to me and project her feelings onto me, but it had nothing to do with me. Be strong and take care of yourself. Talking to someone is a great idea. Good for you for making that appt.
I just have to jump in and say Congratulations to KS, Brite and Dandy!!!
KS- I can't wait to read about your birth story. I hope IM was able to stay calm and is now doing well having her baby in her arms.
Brite- Your baby girl is beautiful! Way to go Momma! I hope your recovery continues to go along smoothly and I can't wait to hear/see more of little Riley Sophia.
Dandy- Wow! What a whirlwind, indeed. I'm glad Adair is doing well and getting the best possible care. I will keep you all in my thoughts as he gets stronger and healthier.
