Where should I buy a snap press?

Okay, I decided I'm going to buy a snap press for mom for Mother's Day. She just bought a serger and has all kinds of plans, so thought she could get the use out of the press -not just for diapers , but lots of things.

SOOOO, where do I buy one? Are they all the same, what brand is best,etc....
TIA!

I just bought a few weeks ago from

http://thesnapstore.com/catalog/

Wendy shipped the press super fast. And it's easy to use.

I second www.thesnapstore.com
Wendy's customer service is great, she ships quickly, has tons of colors to choose from, shipping is reasonable, etc. etc. I love my press!

I have to third thesnapstore.com
Wendy is really fast at shipping. And I think I just saw over there that presses are finally back in stock. Easy to use, too.

Thanks! Now, if I buy the snap press, I have to buy die casts too, right?

What size should I buy? She'll use it first for diapers, and probably for children's clothes....

Yes, you need die sets too.

I bought only size 20. I think for diapers, size 20 is more common. If you have Fuzzi Bunz, that's size 20.

For baby clothes, size 16 is more common. But I don't see why I can't use size 20 though. I didn't want to buy too many at the start, so I only got size 20 for me.

HTH.

I just got my snap press today from One Stop Diaper Shop ~ it shipped incredibly quickly (order was processed Monday, it went out on Tuesday, and got to me today. I've already used it! I went with a size 20 die set and poly-whatever snaps. They do seem a little big for clothes, so I might invest in a size 16 die set once I have some money, but the 20's work great on diapers, covers and probably even mama pads. Have fun ... I'm trying to find more things I can snap! :LOL

I just got mine from the snapstore.com. I love it it's so much easier. I got the size 20 dies to start, the snap store is really cool cause you can order the cuddlebun set of snaps which gives a better ration of sockets to studs (you need a lot more sockets then studs for diapers) and you can pick multiple colors. I got 5 colors for 25 dollars 100 snaps per color I think. I think 20 is definitely big for newborn-1 year old clothing but is ok for older as long as they aren't laying on it like a shirt is ok but a sleeper it might not be comfy. So I'm planning on buying a smaller size dies and snaps at some point.

Hello Everyone!
I am new to this MDC, I do sew and was questioning the snap presses. Do they work for outfits and stuff? I know this maybe a silly question, I would just love to have more options. How easy is it to work with?
Thanks,

Ginasmom, a snap press very easy to work with. As easy as you punch holes on paper.

Yes, you can put snaps on other outfit.
