Alternative to dying eggs?

I loved dying eggs growing up and I'd love to do something similar with the kids each year around Easter. 

 

Anyone have any ideas of what we could do that is vegan friendly? smile.gif

notmartha.org has paper mache eggs instructions up that look cute.

We did these this year: https://www.eggnots.com/Default.asp

 

 

They're called Eggnots. They are a bit pricey but worth the money, IMO. We ordered them last week and they came in about two days. 

 

They are ceramic and hold dyes like a real egg! My son loves them :) We dyed them over the weekend and had a blast!

Wooden eggs can be dyed, or painted with non-toxic paints too!
