Alright, since Ginger joined I guess I will too! We were in the April 2010 ddc together, and now we are both having another, due 12/21/12. Sounds like an auspicious date to me!
I'm Suzanne, I have 4 kids from my 1st marriage, they're 22,18,13, and 9. Oh yes, I am 42 and I'll be 43 in September. My current partner and I have a just turned 2 year old and this little embryo.

My last 4 have been born at home and barring any complications we plan another homebirth right around (after, who am I kidding, I'm always late) Christmas.

I'm feeling pretty okay until the end of the day, I think exhaustion plays a big role for me with nausea. I work full time as a caregiver.

Hi there,

I'm Kelly.  Technically I shouldn't be in the December group, but since there isn't a January group yet and there are others due around the end of December - I imagine the groups will overlap.  I just got my positive today and it's pretty exciting.  I have 4 kids already, ages 6 -16, but I've been in a new relationship for the past 1 1/2 years and this will be our first!  I'm a little nervous about having a baby at 39, but we've been open to the possibility/trying for the past year and my theory from the beginning was that it could take a whole year, depending on what sign the baby was;) - I guess we were waiting for a little Capricorn (or Aquarius - I'm due around the 5th of January, but am always about 2 wks. "late".)

My main goal for this pregnancy is to stay as happy and relaxed as possible.  I never have morning sickness (knock on wood), but so far my only symptoms so early on have been very mild cramping or stretching feelings, having to pee and feeling a bit gassy - oh, and not being able to sleep for more than 6 hrs at a time - but maybe that was just anxiety...

This is my 5th pregnancy, but will be my 4th child. I have 3 sons already and am due in December with a date still to be determined! Happy to be here :)

I am de-lurking, just found out I'm pg on Saturday. Am in SHOCK. We were done having kids, with a 10yo and a 21mo, and were planning travel, moving, etc., so this is a big change for our plans. Frankly, we're kind of freaking out and don't know what to do. Interesting how many surprise pregnancies there are on this board!  I'm still nursing, and couldn't figure out why my milk supply dropped so much last week, guess I figured that one out now :)

Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Welcome sunseeker! Congratulations!
I am finding so much comfort in how many other surprise babies there are here. The due date club I was on last time (on a different site) was mostly mamas who had IVF or some other form of assistance to have those long awaited little ones, which was nice but I think this is a better fit for me at this point.  It is nice to have so many other mamas going through the same "I thought we were done..." craziness!

Hi Ladies!
I am due roughly around December 23rd. This will be my 3rd child, if all goes well my 2nd living child. My first child (a daughter) was born at 22 weeks pregnant in June 2008 and I had my rainbow baby boy in May 2010. This pregnancy was VERY unexpected. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!!

May I join you ladies?  I am due around January 7, but there is not a social group up yet.  I went 10 days early with # 1 and 4 days late with # 2, so who knows what will happen this time!  I know I can start my own group, but it is still so early into the pregnancy!

It took me several days to feel confident about this pregnancy, because I miscarried in December.  I had my progesterone and hcg levels tested twice last week, and so far it looks good!  I'm still really iffy until I see that heartbeat!  I have an 8.5 week appointment set up at the end of the month.

I'm in Australia and planning a HBAC around Christmas sometime.  My partner and I have 2 boys aged 8 (gestated by my partner, c/s for breech) and 3.75 (gestated by me, c/s for breech).  DS2 took me 4yrs to conceive, ending in IVF then the FET that worked.  This current pregnancy is from a FET using an embryo from the same cycle as DS2 - we were just using up the remaining embryos (had to thaw both to get 1) and had no plans to pursue TTC further if it didn't work because I just can't go through it all again.  We're both very pleased, I'm a bit surprised that it actually worked.  DS2 only just weaned in January, which worked well as I don't think I'd like to breastfeed through a pregnancy (though of course I would have if DS2 hadn't weaned).  So far I'm much more optimistic and far less fearful than last time around, which is nice.

Hello mummies! I'm new here with my 6th pregnancy, and hoping that this will be the first successful one. I've had 4 miscarriages and one ectopic in the past 4 years, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. I'm 7 weeks tomorrow!

Hello mamas

I may be a little late in the game since this post was created a week ago but here goes. 

I am the mama to a very attached 23 month old little girl. We are breastfeeding and I am hoping to tandem nurse.  My husband and I are so excited at the possibility of giving birth at the Farm Midwifery Center. We have our first apt in a few weeks.

This baby was a HUGE surprise, we thought we were being careful. But we are honored this little being has come into our lives.

Hi everyone!  I hope it's alright if I step in and join you all!  I'm pregnant with my 3rd child, I have 2 boys ages 5 and 2.  I'm due December 8th and have my first appt. with my midwives this week!  This was a little unexpected, but we are so excited to be having another baby :-)

hi everyone! I'm Jen, mama to DS1 (13), DS2 (10), and DS 3(6), with number 4 due around mid-December. We are a Sudbury schooling, rural living, organic farming mixed polyamorous family. I had a wonderful online Yahoo group for support with #2, and made life-ling friends - hoping to connect here with some new friends!

So far, I'm sick as can be, but recently started taking b12 injections, so I've gone from constant vomitting to constant nausea. It's a step in the right direction ;)
