could i be pregnant with the coper iud in place?

well i got my iud on jannuary of these year and the first month i got 2 periods,the last one lasted for 10 days it end up on february 2 and than i got my perido the next month on the 3rd of march and now on april im 4 days late acording to my calcualtions..im sorry is confusing is hard to explain...could i be pregnant i mean i always  get my periods early not late i have never been late since i fond out that i was pregant of my son,im really scare of been pregnant beacuse my friend just found out that she's pregnant and she had the iud too, she made me think...

yes, you can get pregnant with the IUD, but it is rare. the copper IUD can also change your periods. if you are worried you are pregnant, i would recommend taking a pregnancy test when possible

well i took a test yesturday and it was negative but my friend that got pregnant had the coper iud as well and she had to take a blood test to confirm it and it was positive and she also had an ultrasound because she took 5 preganacys test and they were all neg so i dont know im confuse, i dont what to to go to the doctor too late at a point were they cant take the iud out..
