Livingsky: Seriously how cute is Kayden!!! I can't believe he's doing so much, Brody only discovered toys a couple of weeks ago and still can't even grab them.

Here's my picture spam! Brody's still to little to do much so he'll have to rely on his cuteness

Those are some seriously adorable little boys!

Don't worry Ram, Brody's cuteness will get him a LONG way!! What a sweetheart!

Kayden didn't get into toys until... 6 months, I'd say? And really only around 7 months did he start to get super interactive. He did some stuff before then, but I'd say 7 months was a HUGE leap forward in terms of how he interacted with the world around him. It was like overnight he became this little person with wants and opinions instead of just the basic needs of boob/diaper/sleep. I love it, but it's a lot more work than when I could put him in his swing or bouncer and have him be contained and entertained all at once! smile.gif

What cute boys!

birdie:  wolverine just started rolling regularly just recently.  He rolled a bunch of times earlier but nothing constant.  Lately he hass been rolling on hos tummy to play everytime I put him down and the rolls around a bit while playing on the floor or his crib to get around and get to his toys.

I'd love to add more but I feel so braindead from work and wolverine is lookin like he wants cuddlin.

Well i posted on the other thread, but we use an ergo in addition to the moby. Dh uses the ergo all the time and I use it for times when I'm going to be moving around a lot (like hiking, walking the dog, at the grocery) because i like the extra support. Brody starts to slip down in the wraps with a lot of movement. I cant wait for him to be old enough be carried on the back because he loves to be carried and that will give me a greater range of motion.

I use a Boba. I tried the Ergo and it was really comfy but the body of it was too short for Kayden. K is a real big back archer/leaner when in a carrier so he really needed the higher back. I LOVE my Boba! I can wear him in it for hours at a time without it being uncomfy. My only complaint is that it's a bit awkward to nurse him while he's in it - I've heard the Ergo is better for that.

I have an ergo too and absolutely love it.  I haven't given the backcarry a fair try yet because I need help getting him on my back and most of the time he is in the carrier I am alone with him.  If you know someone with one definatly see if you can try it out and see if it's comfortable for you.

yeah, I've seen my BIL hoist his kiddos into the back carry position somehow, but it's too scary for me. I am going to wait until she can hold on. If someone is there to help get her in (like for fishing, or a hike), then it's GREAT.

Awake from 2-4:30 last night. DD just woke up and wanted to be awake. so cute, but ack! now it's time for work.

So Brody figured out how to flip from his back to his belly this weekend! I looked into the co-sleeper and he was flipped onto his side...about gave me a heart attack. Now diaper changes are a struggle with him moving all over the place.

Birdie, you could always post some pics and just leave them up for a little while... :)

I'm so happy to almost be done teaching, yay! Of course I'm going to have to start the school year next year 9 months preggo, in AZ in August. I will be a sweetheart, I'm sure! :D

LS, I can't get over Kayden and his zest for life. He's all like "Oh My God, You Guys! Have you ever tried pears?"

Hi Ladies! I was wondering if any of you had any possible food allergies show up later in your babes?

Ds has been spitting up everywhere for the last three weeks. He's also become super fussy when nursing (like pulling away and squirming around). My supply seems normal so I don't think it's an over or under supply issue. He did seem to be more fussy after some coffee which is weird because I drink a lot of tea and that doesn't bother him. I'm not eating anything really different, but maybe it's a quantity issue. I've always had milk, but may now it's more dairy with my yogurt smoothies and the cream in my coffee. Anyways just wondering if you ladies had any thoughts or maybe its just an age thing; he just turned three months.

Thanks!

Hi Ramzubo, I think coffee is on the culprit list for reflux, and tea is not. I don't think it's the caffeine only. (Also on the list for us were onions, chocolate -- wah!, and citrus). As for dairy, we didn't figure out that DD has a sensitivity until months in (partly due to denial) but it manifested as gassiness, not spitting up. Gotta run, but hope that helps!
