Hello Mamma's, my name is Terri and I'm from London, England.

I'm 6 months post partum, I gave birth to my 3rd child in Sept 11, it was a very traumatic birth, hemorrage at home( planned homebirth), transfer to hospital, epidural and a forceps delivery with a 3rd degree tear. 

I'm desperate for #4 already and I plan to start TTC this month.

What I want to know is, is it possible to HB after the above?

I know I'm going to encounter problems with the medical profession after my last delivery and that I'll be classed as high risk because of that and my age, I'm 36.

Are there success stories out there?

I think the reason you haven't gotten any responses is because it is difficult to say whether you would be a good candidate for a homebirth without knowing the reason for the last hemorrhage and forcep delivery.  Did you have an placental abruption, was the cord too short, etc.  If the reason you transferred was a one time situation and not likely to occur again, then you might be able to have another homebirth.  It would probably be a good idea to sit down and interview some homebirth midwives and tell them your story and see what they think.
