Oh you guys got me! 

Hi! My name is Bryce malys. I am 21 years old Todd_ and I have been together for almost 3 years. We have 1 kid and _0_ pets (his dog passed before we moved and my rat died shortly after we met). If I was at my favorite restaurant right now I would order chicken tikka masala and coconut samosas and everything else.  but we will actually be having a turkey bone broth with roasted peppers taters carrots turkey and ginger (attmepting to transition to a more paleo/primal diet)  for dinner tonight. When I work for pay I end up working in crazy flower shops but i never want to again, i would rather bake and sell that  and or learn sugar crafting :) .When I am home with the kids my favorite part of the day is all day, i like nap times whne i can pull out my cello and or get some cleaning etc done. My hobbies and interests include String insturments ( cello and violin) singing cooking planting things making anything from scratch its my way of sticking it to the corporations : )

Music: im a weakerthans and iron and wine fool  i love melancholy music, gypsy jazz bluegrass anything shreddable and fun to play
Movie: amiele is a favorite standby i really like scary movies though
Book: the grapes of wrath, i have 1929 tatooed on my knuckles in honor of : )
Season: summah!  but now that im in the deep south i think spring
Household chore: i like vaccuming and making the bed and putting things away, i could do without dishes but ionly because right now i have a cold grey water sink and its annoying, usually i dont mind it i really like a clean kitchen so whenever i want to go make a big mess i can. 
Cause: independence autonomy and honesty
Diaper: plain ol cotton prefolds folded in half into a flip diaper cover with snaps
Baby carrier: ergo, but a nice long piece of crushed velvet makes a nice wrap to : )


If you could change one thing about _____, what would it be?

The world? go back in time to a less populated and technologically advanced situation (post apocalyptic? hahahaha)
Your house? i would get my bathroom and plumbing installed! 
Your parenting? i would be better at morning diaper changes i hate sitting up in the morning
Your life? i would be less distractable and all over the place i cannot focus even when we have band practice i do things like start cooking bones and or clean ugh.


What would your best friend say is your best feature.....uuuugghhhh i dont know! 
If a genie gave you three wishes what would you ask for? more wishes! endless expensive coffee, and the break down of society into a more communicative and organic place
Do you have any pet peeves? repetitive noise todd leaving dirty diapers on my bedside table , he forgets and walks away
Where would you go on a dream vacation? the whole world for 10 years

What's the first thing you usually think about in the morning? coffee....opening the doors if its cold inside or turning the ac on if its too hot getting body space, and making the bed!

Rusty - I love The Grapes of Wrath too and totally have post-Apocalyptic fantasies though I imagine may be romantacising things a bit

Well, I always fantasize post-Apocalyptic survival would be something like when my sister and I were kids and would pack our provisions for magical trips on our "boat" (couch cushions on the floor), but with more people; however, I have a sneaking suspicion it would have more in common with "The Road"...shudder...

I have dreams all the time about make-shift post-Apocalyptic communities which are always happy and free feeling.

I often struggle with how much of "society" I would like to engage/participate in, it's really hard to just pick and choose. Especially being a parent, as we're essentially choosing for our kids. Use of technology, public school etc.

Oh, when we go to the cabin I always think it'd be nice to have an apocalypse because it's a very welcome break from DH's stupid iphone... but then I turn on the electric blanket at night and change my mind :)

Mummoth, I actually had a dream a couple of nights ago that I threw my dp's cellphone out a 20th floor window...I remember thinking (in my dream) ..."this is really mean and I already feel guilty about it but I am just so totally fed up with this phone". So I threw it out and somehow a gust of wind caught it and brought it right back in through the bottom of the window :(

He has all these obnoxious ringtones and alarms and noises going off all the time...wakes the baby up and drives me crazy!

Ha ha, I haven't dreamt about the phone (yet) but I SO feel your pain. He has alarms set at 15 minute intervals in the morning and it usually takes him 45 minutes to get up.

rusty, assuming we'd go back to the barter-system what would your post-apocalypse skill or product be?

awesome question. probably food production/preservation/  surgery? and clothing production tanning hides iwant to be able to hunt

I would totally be the midwife :) and my husband would be the engineer who could fix or make anything. We'd be naked and hungry tho, because we are both terrible aims
