Sorry I didn't get checked in yesterday. I had a crying breakdown last night over Easter "grandparent" photos and "pregnancy" announcements I saw on facebook and took a break of online interaction for the night.
I lost! 237.2 pounds and on AF too. Yeah! Go RED TEAM!
I'm doing my own challenge, but it's really not fun being accountable only to myself! Would any of the waiting list ladies want to start a new thread? Not sure I want to wait until May - too much to lose. In the meantime, thanks Milk for the offer to challenge off-thread - you're on lady!!
I was hoping to start week 2 of c25k today but I donated blood yesterday and it left me more rundown than I thought it would. I haven't donated since before I got pregnant with my first and didn't realize it would be a different ball game with two little ones. Unfortunately I think donating again will have to wait till my kids are older. Of course, my 14 month old has made waking in the middle of the night an art form in the past couple of weeks so that does not help.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday! I unfortunately have gone up - 189.4 - I think it was Easter candy and my husband's birthday celebrations that threw me. One more dinner out tonight then hopefully I'll be better this week.
Has anyone done the cabbage soup diet? Some friends were talking about it this weekend, and I had never heard of it. Something to help curb my sweet tooth would be great. Maybe south beach?
Subbed!
got it. 144.6 this morning. today i ate starting at 7 am, about 1/4 lb. turkey, fruit salad (with no yogurt), strong black coffee, ice water, oatmeal with more fruit ... and then for lunch, salad with sunflower kernels and full fat ranch dressing, and another bowl of fruit salad (no yogurt).
that's it, and i'm done eating for the day at noon.
walked for 1 mile this morning, have a busy afternoon ahead with kid stuff and going places. i will drink more coffee and iced tea (no sweeteners or creamers).
SURELY i will get to 143 by morning, right??
Tracylee - the south beach phase one was pretty tough, but if you do it without cheating, it REALLY works for curbing your sweets cravings. I liked south beach, but it was very tough for me to stick to because I don't eat eggs, and minimal dairy. But good stuff and worth trying out for sure!
Ok, the updated standings for the new thread. We have all week 3 weights but one, so here we go . . .

I'm not on the waiting list
but I would like to join the challenge. I agree, waiting till May seems to far and I would like to get started and stay motivated knowing that losing weight is a team effort.
subbing

got it. 144.6 this morning. today i ate starting at 7 am, about 1/4 lb. turkey, fruit salad (with no yogurt), strong black coffee, ice water, oatmeal with more fruit ... and then for lunch, salad with sunflower kernels and full fat ranch dressing, and another bowl of fruit salad (no yogurt).
that's it, and i'm done eating for the day at noon.

didn't work. 144.0. i'm on a serious plateau..
Tropicana - that's still a little better than 1/2 a pound in a day!
It will come off.
I do feel your pain tho... I had my first under 200 reading 2 weeks ago... and I'm still not under 195. It is driving me nuts. My goal weight seems so far off and I feel like I'm working so hard to not have better numbers.
Activity report: Boot camp on Monday - 60 minutes, Tuesday was kettle bell (went up to 22 lbs) for 45 minutes and then 40 minutes on the treadmill for a variety pack, today is boot camp for another 60 minutes.
Anyone on the waiting list is welcome to join me here! Thanks again to Milk for the brilliant idea :)

Monday I walked an hour pushing a double storller up and down hills. then last night I took it easy and did some weight lifting at home for a half an hour
