The eight week healthy weight loss challenge (week four and beyond...) - Page 7

My weight for this week is 164. Last week I did weigh myself although I didn't report in because I was back to 166 which is what I weighed when we started. I was too bummed to even type the number.

I didn't get in any formal exercise last week. My mom came to visit, doctors' appointments, younger one sleeping really lousy, etc. But my weight went down because I tend to eat less when someone is hanging out with me all day long. I assume some of my eating is emotional: boredom and frustration. This morning I got myself and the kids to the gym. My older guy didn't want me to leave him in the kids' room but I managed to peel myself away and do w3d1 of c25k.

I hit 196 today on the scale and I am really proud of myself. That is 50 pounds since October 1st. 50 pounds. That is what my son weighs! Can't imagine how happy my body must be to not have him on my back 24/7!

147.5  I guess even as much as I am walking its not helping much. Going to try and get in some more formal exercise this week.

no loss, but no real gain either. despite eating a large quantity of cake at my daughter's birthday party. and eating freely that day as well.

WTH? but, i'll take it.

139...does not seem to want to budge, but I have not really been able to get to the gym as much the last few weeks. I would like to get down to 133-135.

Go blue team!

207 (down one pound).  My blister has healed and I feel good about getting my runs in again.  I feel so good afterwards.

Sorry to post so late --

I'm horrified: 157

and so bummed. And confused. I've been eating so well, avoiding so many temptations, and exercising MORE vigorously, and more often. WTH? Period is over, pms is over, and the only goodness here is that the better diet and better exercise is balancing my mood somewhat.

The thing is, til this bump up in weight, I've been going between 154 - 150 for about a year. So confused and disappointed. Sorry too, blues!

Have any of you experienced something like this, a significant weight gain when you START exercising and eating better? (for what it's worth, at 44 I really do know what eating better looks like for my body, and I really am doing it - low carbs, avoiding refined foods, lots of vegetables, simple proteins. it's always worked for me before...)

150 I'm not impressed but I am weighing in at night which is about a pound higher than my lowest weight of the day which is at 11-12 before lunch. Now I'm working 8-4 so I can't weigh at that time. I have to shift my whole schedule: exercise, eating, weighing. So I guess I need to find the norm for this time of the day to track the weight loss. I have instituted no eating after dinner and I'm starting week 4 of c25K which is a significantly higher calorie burn so I hope that's reflected in next weeks weigh in.

Congrats Dmitrizmom on your big loss this week!!!!!

Sorry for the late post. Travelling this week. Also completely stalled at 167.2

I'm doing a very low calorie diet today, and no exercise. Orange juice and V8 so far.

PSA: Spicy V8 is not spicy AT ALL.

Sorry. I have trouble with this site on my ipod and getting to a computer is challenging. I do remember to weigh in.

187.2 - just like last week.

I am also stagnant at 265.

Sorry to be so late. I am .5 pound up for the blues this week. DD turned 5 and the cake is good....puts me at 208.3. My foot is throbbing, so I can barely walk which is not good for movement. I ordered tea tree oil to see if that will help and if not, then castor oil will have a chance. I really don't want surgery, but I can't go on much longer with this wart pain.

Thanks!
