Trying to find "stacker?" with no base

Ok... so I'm trying to find a toy but I have had no luck searching online and don't know what it's called. :banghead:

It's essentially a "stacker" but without the base. So it's a wooden dowel or rod with rings you can put the dowel through. Does anyone know what this is called or where I can find one. Or maybe another forum to post this in.

Thank you so much! :goodvibes:

When I think of wooden toys, I think of the "Melissa and Doug" brand. Have you checked their website? I really have no idea what toy you're looking for, but hope this suggestion helps thumb.gif good luck

I've never seen that exact thing for sale, you can buy this one which is beautiful and remove the dowel from the base or use another rod in its place http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012TMZAQ/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1/180-8511515-6613050?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=0E59V7SAPSF5FDM3XWV4&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_i=B001CN7YWQ

Or do the same thing with this smaller, less expensive one

Here is another source of stacker blocks http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-567-Geometric-Stacker/dp/B0006IRTU0/ref=sr_1_2?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1334164466&sr=1-2  I don't generally like M&D quality but this was pretty decent.
