Team Weight Loss Challenge! - Page 2

Do we know the members of each team yet? headscratch.gif I think I started the week off not too bad. Smoothies for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and low-fat dinners. Except for a day which my hubby invited me to have lunch at a chinese buffett...I felt guilty afterwards. 30 mins of exercise on Tuesday, and I'll go for a power walk this evening with DD. I hope to stay motivated to work out for the next 3 days, I'm already feeling exhausted from work! sleepytime.gif

I power walk the dogs every other day, and the days inbetween, and on both weekend days I do jillian michaels 30 day shred. Im also on a calorie restriction thing - Im trying to eat 1300 a day...but man I love starbucks, its my guilty pleasure.

That Starbucks will get you every time!

Are we still doing this? I lost 1 pound for the week. For the month too actually. I started P90X and weaned in the same week. I think my hormones are making the weight stick for the moment even though I'm eating WAY less than before. Hopefully this week the scale will budge a bit more smile.gif

I just saw this. Sorry ladies! I hope I can still be counted in. If we are going to actually do this, we need good communication and a leader who keeps up with this.

I lost weight since last week and I am so excited. I was 159 pounds and now I am 155 pounds!

So anyway, my weigh in for today is that I am 5'5 in height and 155 pounds.

I am feeling great! Now lets get everything organised. Do we have a leader?

Hi all,

Sorry to be absent. Trying to finish my thesis so I can graduate in three weeks ... eek. I haven't put together teams, because I don't have starting numbers for everyone. Please send along ASAP and I will divide us up. I'll put together a chart of what I have thus far tonight :)

I'm going to be checking the thread daily since it seems I don't get the alerts on a regular basis when the thread has been updated. I now have everyone's information, and I've divided us into two teams - purple and orange (feel free to let me know if you want the colors changed). There are 8 of us, so it works out nicely. Average weight of the Orange team is 164lbs and the Purple team is 174lbs (I tried to get us as close as possible, but I'm afraid my weight always throws things off). I'm looking forward to our challenge. If everyone sends me their weight today, we can count today as our first weigh-in. If not, we'll have our first weigh-in next week.

CONGRATS to vermontgirl for a 4lb loss - that's totally awesome!!! Should have put you on my team :)

Hi friends,

Not too many people checked in with weights yesterday, so why don't we have our first official weigh-in on Monday, May 7 - that will give everyone a two-week jump for the first weigh-in (a little extra time to let that PX90 or Jillian Michaels kick in). By the way, I seriously don't know how you do the PX90 - I watched a friend do it a year or so ago, and I broke out in a sweat in the first five minutes just watching her! Jillian is definitely more my speed.... now, where did I stick that DVD???

Good luck hard-work and dedication ladies!!!!

Did we start this past Monday or last Monday? If we started last Monday you can put my starting weight as 159 and this weeks weight as 155. Then the next weight would be this coming Monday right?

Vermontgirl: Everyone sent me their initial starting weight as of last Monday (4/23), however only 3 people sent in weigh in numbers for Monday (4/30), hence my suggestion of having our first official weigh-in be on 5/7. Everyone will record two weeks of weight loss for the first weigh-in.  Sorry for the confusion and for not getting us up and going in a timely fashion. We should all be on the same page now. Thanks so much!!

Just checking in - how's everyone doing?? This week has been bananas for me. As of Wednesday, I wll have turned in everything needed to graduate (phew), so I hope to be able to return my focus to getting off this weight! It's not that I've been eating poorly, per se, but I've not been eating at the right times and not often enough. Yesterday, I had breakfast and then didn't eat again until 9.30pm. Not a great plan for losing weight.

What's going on with everyone else? Don't forget our big weigh-in on Monday!!! Yay!!!

It hasn't been a good week for me either. I've been busy with work and I've made some bad food choices. My husband keeps coming home bringing me ice cream or pasta or chocolate bars!!! he's not helping the cause and I just can't resist eat.gif I need to have a talk with him about being supportive, not a diet threat, lol! And so far, I've just exercised once this week...but the week isn't over yet, so i hope to squeeze in a work out today and tomorrow.

hope everyone's week is going well!!! GO TEAM PURPLE!!!

I had some health and anxiety issues last week that prevented my from exercising. I am getting started again today.

Last weeks weigh in: 176 lbs

Today's weight in: 175.4
