New:))) and hopeful vbac after 3 c/s.

My name is Meredith and I am having my 4th baby. I had my first baby c/s due to placenta previa . The nest c/s was uncalled for and the third was even more uncalled for . Labor well with my third and got to 7 cm but chief OB came in and was super ugly forcing me to have a c/s. so here I am in nc and trying to find a doctor who will let me vbac if I can't find that then I'm just going to have to upset some people by refusing when I get to the hospital. Any body have any success stories and can you offer and advice? Thank you much;)

First, go here: North and South Carolina and Tennessee  and ask about providers near you.  You'll get more responses from local folks.  

Second, skim through a couple of pages on this subforum (VBAC) and you'll find a few people who successfully refused a c/s or planned to...but I don't think its generally recommended unless its your absolute last option.  And welcome to MDC, by the way!

Have you contacted your local midwives?  The first midwives that I contacted refused to help me with my VBA2C but the second set of midwives that I contacted accepted me with open arms...I am due in May.  Good luck to you!
