I am a first time mom and pregnant with twins! I am so glad I found this site because I'm hoping to connect to other twin mommas or singleton mommies. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant. My babies move so much its crazy I love it! I was wondering if there are any moms that are 23 weeks as well or twin moms? Oh and I'm having one boy and one girl can't wait.!

I'm 23 weeks with a singleton (first time mom too) and the movement is awesome!  You'll want to connect with ithappened, who is 25ish weeks with twins.  There's another twin mama running around here too, I just can't remember who it is.  Congrats!  It must be so exciting!  I saw my belly move with the movement today for the first time and it was incredible.  Crazy times!

Thats awesome! I saw that last week and it reminded me of an alien haha. How is your pregnancy going to far? Any complications? Do you know if your having a boy or a girl? Thanks =)

So far so good.  No complications and I'm in the second trimester "glow" phase (though that may start wearing down soon).  I had some miserable heartburn last week, but otherwise I've been ok.  The first trimester took more out of me than I was expecting though.  I couldn't imagine why people do this more than once!

We're not finding out the sex, so it's still a surprise.

How about you?  How's multiple doses of hormones treating you?  Are you finding out the sexes?  There are a ton of threads for you to jump onto -- the Due Date Thread, if you haven't already -- and Signs and Symptoms are two of my favorites.  I love complaining about the newest crazy symptom that hits.  And you're totally right about the alien movement.  It's really really crazy, but so exciting.

That's awesome! Yeah first trimester I was sick a LOT. I agree I dont know how anyone else has children after this. I feel like a whale and im not even to my biggest yet haha. Yuck I haven't had heartburn yet or tiredness. Just minor cramping due to being small frame and having to make room for two babies. I do know the sexes we found out about four weeks ago. I say power to you because I was dying to know I couldn't imagine waiting tell they are born. Im having a girl her name is Blair and a boy named Ashton. You have any names picked out?

Congratulations on twins!  From what I've heard it is tough on the mamas, but as a twin myself, it is great to be a twin.

Nice, baby A and baby B.  I think Blair is such a beautiful name.

Hi and welcome to MDC! I am 20 weeks pregnant with twins. I'm having a boy and girl too. I was also sick alot in the 1st trimester and still have to take a Zofran (anti-nausea med) a few times a week. And I hear you about being HUGE! Sometimes I swear I can feel my belly growing-that's how fast I am getting big. I think I am as big as I was at 7-8 mos with my boys. I can't imagine how big I will end up being.

You should check out the parenting multiples forum on this site. It has been so helpful for me this pregnancy.

Thank you I like the name Blair as well. And I bet being a twin is fun =).  I am so glad you responded we are only 3 week apart from each other! I am sorry you are still sick sometimes. I only get sick if I dont eat as soon as I wake up in the mornings. I did check out the parenting of multiples forum I liked it. Do you know what your twins are yet?

Hi, congrats and welcome!  Adorable names you have picked out for each baby.

As soon as you lie eyes on those babies, you'll know why we do it more than once. LOL  And just wait until they smile for the first time.  Oh yeah.

This pregnancy has been very different than my singleton pregnancies. Everything is happening faster and is more intense. If you decide to have another baby, I think you will find it a different experience.

As far as names, baby boy will be Asher and we are still talking about baby girl. Eliana seems to be the front runner right now, but DH wants to keep looking.

hi!  i'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with twins- also my first babies. my "official" EDD is sept 7, but my midwife seems confident the babies could arrive earlier, in august.

i'm feeling definite movement, but still just little pops and flutters mostly- i'm excited for it to get stronger. i'm going for my next ultrasound on the 26th and i will hopefully be finding out the sexes. super excited about that, too. i didn't have intense morning sickness, but i was definitely queasy for a few weeks and the fatigue was UNREAL. right now my major complaints are lower backache and some leg cramps in the early morning. not fun, but i also feel like overall, my pregnancy is going well and i can't complain too much. i'm a bit frightened to imagine being hugely pregnant with twins in the dead of summer, though.

congrats, mamas!
