Hello ladies! I haven't even introduced myself yet on the intro thread, which I will do momentarily...but I just couldn't help but chime in since I have suffered/am suffering similarly to many of you.
LittleGriff - I too am pg with #3 and had debilitation nausea with #1 and #2 for 20 weeks (a boy and a girl, respectively...so side note, I get so defensive when anyone tries to say that MS is associated with gender...that's another thread :) Anyways, I think I have tried everything on these lists, other than the Unisom b/c I won't take anything even when not pg. With #2, I DID try acupuncture from about week 6 to week 12, and I have to say it did very little for me. I believe I have a good acupuncturist, but i have only been to her, so I guess I can't compare her. She is from China, trained there and grew up with it via her grandmother, and has a really holistic approach. Anyways, i will likely try it again this time, but if it's not working after a few weeks I will stop b/c it is EXPENSIVE.
Sea bands never worked for me, nor did plain b6. I try to do protein, but my food aversions are SO intense that I can barely walk into my kitchen or open the fridge, never mind prepare something....So, i'd love to hear suggestions on Protein snacks! If I could have things ready at my disposal, that could help..
This time around, so far the nausea has not reached levels of #1 and #2, but it's still early (about 7 weeks I think...this one was a surprise and i am BF so my cycle wasn't even back yet...)
I look forward to sharing this time with you ladies, I always enjoy the MDC DDCs!!!
