I was wondering who else was sitting here overdue.  It's definitely not easy watching each day tick by.  My EDD was yesterday.  We need an overdue club.  I was such a moody and tired mess yesterday.  Last night contractions started up AGAIN for a couple hours, very regular, about every 5 min. but alas I went to sleep and they went away.  Hoping to get out walking today at the park down the street as it's looking like a gorgeous day.  Probably won't put me in labor, but will be good for my soul to get fresh air.  I hope today is a good one for you!

Yeah, I'm thinking Maryam may be "otherwise occupied" at this point, since I PM'd her a few days ago and haven't heard back.  I never got her phone number, though I should have.

I'm not really 'over due' at all. According to Nagels my EDD is May 7th, according to u/s (two) I was due May 1st. My last pregs Nagels was 15 days before the birth happened. I went with Nagels for the DDC and midwife apts, but only because u/s for every pregnancy would have put me at 43+ weeks. 

I have 3 day long periods when not preg and like clockwork they are add another month -2 on dates.

If I count another method my due date falls in between the two, May 3rd-4th

I give myself lots of options so I don't have a certain day I am heart sick over. ; )

As for labory I have contractions (not just b/h) every 10-20 minutes if I am sitting, every 5 minutes if I am moving around. She is so low I bet I dropped another cm or two since tuesday.

Like I have said though, nothing to get excited over as this went on for 2-3 weeks with my last one.

it is starting to depress me just a bit. i am always super late, induction is not an option unless its life or death. those contrax make me mad too. get them all the time and they go nowhere..yet!

Granted DS was born in the fall when this was more appealing, but I drank spicy hot chocolate and ate a spicy chocolate ice cream called El Diablo the night I went into labor...

this is how my last pregnancy was... days and days of false labor... I wonder if this is more common on 3rd, 4th, etc babies?

Ooo... I finished all the spicy chocolate ice cream that was in the freezer.  Maybe I need to whip up another batch.  It's a good excuse, anyway. 

Forest - on my 2nd I was "in labor" for 5 days.  The MW says I was only in "active labor" for the last 22-ish hours, but it sure felt real the rest of the time.  I also had broken membranes for about 52 hours all told, so I'm not sure what was "real" and what was "false".

False labor here too...:-( My sympathies to everyone else!

This is only my second and I had no signs with my first until I was really in labor, so I spent all of yesterday being very excited. I was having strong tightening sensations all day at work to the point where I had to stand up and rock and breathe through some of them. When I stood up I would get strange pressure squeezing near the tops of my legs too. Everything slowed down once I got home and by 11 had completely stopped. I lost what could have been my mucus plus 4 days ago too. I've probably had a total of 10 contrax all day today, so no false excitement here any more, but I am ready for this baby to come!

I had an early u/s that said my edd was 5/6, but I'm pretty sure I know the conception date and that puts my edd at 5/15. I hope this false labor stuff doesn't last that long...
 

I stopped on my way home yesterday to buy witch hazel (to freeze on some pads) and ended up also buying a bag of Doritos, some beef snack sticks and a bottle of Perrier. ??? Weird! I never buy any of those things, though I will eat them if offered. :-)

My friends who have more than two seem to have similar experiences. One friend had at least two weeks of false labor with her 3rd and her 4th (who's almost two weeks old now!) she had lots of false labor and then a super short actual labor.
This is my 3rd...I've been feeling ctx most of the day and I've all of a sudden developed massively swollen feet (yeah, I thought the were bad the other day, hah. Now they're so puffy...I can't even say. I want to cry every time I look at them. Saw mw this morning and everything is ok - BP normal, no protein in urine, etc)...I feel very pre-labor ish. And LOTS of low pressure and low back discomfort. I go back and forth between thinking this baby is coming soon (not due until the 18th) and feeling like it's just normal 38-wk fatigue...
I really need baby to not come at least until Sunday because my husbands' niece is having her confirmation tomorrow and if I go into labor and need MIL to watch the kids and miss it...lets just say it won't do anything to improve my image in DH's family. So no baby, you cannot be born on Cinco De Mayo. NO sombrero for you.

My "guess date" was technically the 25th of April, but i knew I'd go late and didn't have any ultrasounds to confirm so that date is pretty flexible.  But definitely feeling ready to meet this baby (and I WAS NOT feeling ready up until less than a week ago... so I am hoping it's soon!).  Hoping everyone who wants one gets a super moon baby hehe ;-)
