Business website

I'm quite a new doula, trying to build up a client base &etc. I have a Facebook page but I need an actual website. I have really basic computer skills & barely any understanding of server lingo, so could someone walk me through what I need to do & maybe recommend a service to use?

I think a really quick and easy way to go could be a blog through Blogger.  The main page would be a blog, and then you can add additional information pages for info about yourself, your rates, etc.   Your URL would be  www.what ever you want.blogspot.com  ...but later you could link it up so that when you type in something like www.raincitydoula.com  it will go straight to your blog page.  To give you an idea, I've used that method to make a page for my art (and I'm going to be turning it into a doula page soon)  You can see it here:  www.alishavernon.com

Blogger is also really user friendly.

Blogger is a great suggestion - Weebly is also very user friendly and has a bunch of nice easy-to-customize templates.

I'm also a newly trained doula and set up a site on wordpress. Also, I registered an web address so I could still use it if/when I need something a bit fancier. I like wordpress because you can use the free templates, but can also customize it to your needs.

i use wix.com. i have an, "upgraded" plan but their free sites are beautiful as well.
