#4 here - but I live in a communal house, and this will be the 13th kid. Not all live here full time, but when they are here (like right now!) it's a mad-house. Fortunately my kids & 3 of the other kids all go to a Sudbury School, where if we get them there at 10 instead of 9:30 or whatever, no one cares....

I found a t-shirt online that said, "Yes, I'm pregnant, again. And yes, I know what causes it." I'm so tempted to wear it to my brother's wedding festivities to ward off all of the negativity from people who think I should have stopped.

I have 3 boys who are 13, 10, & 6. Yes, I want a girl. And no, I;m not holding my breath, and no, I didn't get pregnant to 'try for a girl." And yes, I;m done after this - I'm 41, and this is nothing like being pregnant at 28 was....

I got pregnant because we were crystal clear we wanted one more child :)

LOL...I'm so feeling like this.  I'm so wiped out this time, I have so little energy.  I wound up passing shopping and library duties off to my husband today.  He's taking the older kids out to get some books and things to eat this week.  I'm fairly picky when selecting groceries...so he knows I'm super wiped out when I let that one go.  Whatever he brings home I'm going to be happy with.

Hey Momma!  So glad to see you here! ;)

Older moms have a higher chance at a girl...with two of each here and the last two being my boys I wouldn't mind if DH switched back to girls.  Now that my girls are getting older, I can see some drama starting...but I think the girls are easier when they are younger at least LOL.  But, either way I'm just happy with anything healthy.  I'm still only 9 weeks here...I will be happy when I get some actual confirmation that everything is looking OK.  Not seeing the mw for another few weeks here.  It's amazing now, with all of the other kids how wiped out I am and nobody is asking questions.

The really funny part is, my youngest (3 year old) has already said a few times that 'there's a baby in your tummy' although I haven't said anything to anyone yet!

HI Christy! Good to see you too (Christy & I were DDC buddies in an Autumn home-birth group in 2001:).

We have now told all the kids that we live with - the littlest one, who is 2, keeps chanting, "baby....brother....sister...." It's freaking adorable.

Yes... girls.... According to most of the myths, etc, this should be a girl. I guess I'll find out before Christmas ;) (BTW, the total count, of the 12 kids I live with, is 10 boys 2 girls... so you know what the girls are rooting for!)
