Anyone started thinking about baby names yet? I have a girl name I really like, but it's likely to change. We still don't have a boy name we both love.

We have a few ideas, but nothing we love yet for a girl. We are pretty sure on a first name for a boy, though. No middle names yet.

So boy names I've been thinking about: Ezra, Galen, Gage, Rowan, Elijah, Rory, Zane, Gavin

What are your boy names thus far?

I think the hard thing about baby names is that after your first kid, not only do you have to find a name you like that works with your last name (and ours is hyphenated which makes it that much harder), but then you have to find a name that work with the sibling names, too, because you will be calling those names together a LOT.

We're using family names. Arthur or Ernest for a boy. Cecelia or June for a girl. I get soooo excited about our little person when I think of the names. As for middle names, we're using family surnames.

We are settled on our first  name for a girl...Charlotte. We have always loved the name and our eldest has become completely obsessed about a little sister named Chalotte that she can call Lottie and our middle daughter wants to call her Charlie :) We have a few middle name ideas for it so we'll see if it's a girl what her little personality seems to be. As for a boy we have a long list from last pregnancy but no real strong favorites yet. I'm so fetching excited lol, I can't believe we get to pick out names and plan for the room, etc :)

We've talked about quite a few...but no loves yet.

For a girl I like Violet, Hazel and Aria.  For a boy, I like Archer and Levi.

We usually don't choose "the" name until we meet the baby but we have a few that we like and we pick the one that suits.  That, and we have such a hard time agreeing on names! lol

Funny. Hazel is the name we like the most right now for a girl, naming her after Hazel Dickens. I really like Levi, too, and we've talked about that name, too.

Ohhh! Archer is one of our top boy middle name picks. It has been for.ever. lol. For whatever reason when Henry was born, Archer did NOT seem like his middle name though, so it still sits on our lonely little middle name shelf, lol

The only name we have ever agreed on for a girl is Sabrina. But we will be waiting til babe arrives to really think about names.

 I am loving Levi and Hazel more and more but I can't get my husband on board!  He likes Archer but thinks there's "something better out there".  I love him dearly but we have very different tastes in names! He wants Legend for a boy.  I just can't bring myself to name my child that! 

The good thing is, this happens every time and we always find something that we both adore (or he watches me give birth and agrees to anything I suggest! ;)).  So I know something will come up! :)

we've had a boy name in mind since my first pregnancy. we like Asa Jude, or Asa Oliver.

for a girl, we like Seraphim as a first name (we would call her Sera), and possibly Lake or Wendy for a middle name. Both of those are family names.

i have always loved Alba for a girl, but hubby is so not on board for that one.

Sofia for a girl. Onaje for a boy. (All of our kids have five letter names.) We'll probably start talking about middle names once we find out the sex.

We will start thinking of names after i reach 20 weeks, and find out our babies gender. Feel like its less work when you just have to worry about a name specific to your baby's gender. For a boy my hubby proposed Leo or Rock..YES! Rock he is obsessed with Rocky Balboa. from all the Rocky movies. I told him since we don't live in hollywood where wacky names are a norm, Rock is not an option, but i do like the name Leo.

I really love Joanna Mercy for a girl, and Malachi Nathan for a boy. Those names are pretty much set in stone in my head, so I just have to try to convince DH, lol. But I am open to other suggestions from him, too.

I love the name Jude! How do you pronounce Asa?

I wanted to try to keep our children's names 'family' names.  Our daughter is named after her great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother (Lillian Grace). 

However, there are really no family names that I love anymore...

If we have a boy, I love the names Andrew or Joshua... but DH is pretty much against both of them.  He wants to name our boy Aaron or Clay (we live in WI, Green Bay Packers fans here..)  But honestly... not for me.  Although, I did give him, if we have a boy, and he is born on 12/12/12, we will name him Aaron. 

I haven't really thought much of girls names, but I mentioned Sophia to DH the other day, and he goes, "I love that name!"  So... maybe we have a girls name? 
As for middle name, I want to use my dad's name (Neil).  Which would be great for the boys..

However, I was thinking, "What if this is our last child?"  So...  do you think I could get away with Neil for a baby girl middle name??

I think you could absolutely do Neil for a girl's middle name! Sophia Neil? Waaaay cute! I just tend to go by what flows if you know what I mean. we have Emily Grace, Penelope Jane, and Henry Lehi so far and I dunno mama, I would just go for what feels right-that's what I've done and I LOVE my kiddos' names :)

For a girl, we are thinking Nora Mae (Mae is a family tradition. All of the first born daughters have the middle name Mae). And if the baby is a girl and we do decide to name her Nora, then her initials will be N.M.E and if you say that fast, you'll see where I have a problem with the name....LOL. (enemy) My husband loves the name Nora so much, it doesn't bother him. The only positive thing can think of, if she becomes a roller derby chick...it will be perfect! Ha!  As for a boy, we have no clue!
