Hi all. I'm super excited to be here.
First baby - took 4 cycles to conceive her, normal pregnancy, normal birth.
Second baby - took 3 cycles to conceive him, normal pregnancy, normal homebirth.
Third baby - took 2 cycles to conceive him, pPROM at 23 weeks, hospital bedrest for 2.5 weeks, complete placental abruption and emergency c-section at 25w5d, baby lived for 27 days.
Fourth baby - took 1 cycle to concieve this time! Kept with our pattern, though, 4-3-2-1, LOL. I'm tentatively planning a homebirth, even though it will only be 13 months after my c-section if I make it to 40 weeks this time. My third pregnancy has taught me to keep my options open and be aware of the unexpected things that could happen. There was no cause found for my pPROM but I'm hoping and praying this is another boringly normal pregnancy like I had with the first two.
