Turning up water heater

Are you turning your water heater up?  Ours doesn't say what the temps is, but we have it set now so that when the water is as warm as it can get, it's not burning and you can still put your hand under it comfortably. I'm thinking I want it hotter for the birth so that if I run out, it'll have started out hotter. When should I turn it up?

I remembered to turn it up the first time but not the second time. It sill worked out okay but I've never labored in the water--I just get in to push. So if you are thinking you'll be getting in to labor then you'll need a couple of rounds of water so I'd turn it up to be safe.
