Help! My body is whacky!

My body is beginning to cycle again after about 1 year Of pp nursing (still nursing). At any rate, I had a temp change going much higher about 12 days ago, then 5/6 days later I began spotting/bleeding afterwards. The flow became heavier and is now back to hardly anything 6 days later. I thought it was my period, but that doesn't make sense as it wasn't a long enough leuteal length (mine are usually 12-14 days). Also, my bbt went even higher this am so this makes absolutely no sense. I took an hpt his afternoon an got a bfn but is it too early to test? What bleeding was I having if it wasn't truly my period?

Could you be pregnant? Maybe it's just your body getting back on track somehow? I guess you are in the same boat as me with your negative HPT and my negative HPT...and I guess for both of us a blood test seems like an option!? Ugh, I'm just stubborn and don't want to get one done because I say to myself "well, what are the odds?" and I talk myself out of it.

I don't know what to tell you, but that is kind of odd. Good luck!

Thanks for the thoughts! Today during work I ended up feeling nauseous which is odd. The feeling went away again. Also am tired. My temp is still high and my lady comp is thinking that I'm fertile when I'm not bc I already bled. So still confused. I still have one more hpt. Also, my nursling isn't drinking as much and my boobs don't feel as full. For whatever that's worth. It could also be beginning stages of baby led weaning though. Hard to say.
