looking for a more "natural approach" pediatrician in JAX that accepts medicaid

I have a baby due tomorrow and an 8 year old... I was all lined up to take the  both to progressive pediatrics , but had to cancel my apt last minute.. there was a misunderstanding regarding our insurance, we have united medicaid... they had me down as tricare??  I also tried calling Dr. Elvir in St Aug she also does not accept medicaid. I am desperate at this point but I really dont want to end up going to a regular pediatrician. my daughter has been put on so many meds for ridiculous things that she now has perm. issues. Does anyone know of a more natural approach pediatrician in NOrthern FL that accepts medicaid???? OH and my son is also set to be born in a birthing center not a hospital if that makes a difference

Thanks guys :)

I'm sorry, I don't have a name for you.  But have you looked into general practitioners instead of peds?  We have a great family doctor.  She's holistic, and sees all of us, not just the kids.  Good luck!

This has nothing to do with this topic but i was getting info about babies top teeth growing with a gap bc my son is also. But dont stress out about it. Personal experience... My son gets this from me. I always had a gap in my teeth and i thought it would always be that way. And all of the dentists told my parents to get braces and snip the skin as well. But my parents could never afford it. It's crazy but my teeth closed up all on its own when I was about 12-15 yrs old, when i was 15 the gap was completely closed!! I was so excited. So if I would have gotten braces in the first place, by the time nature took its course I would have had crooked teeth! Now my teeth are perfectly straight. Btw, when he's about 18-20 I would reccomend getting his wisdom teeth pulled like me, so they don't make his straight teeth crooked. smile.gif hope this helps
