My daughter is 4 and non-vaxed. Yesterday, we were at her grandparents and she was playing outside. This morning, I noticed that she had a scrape on her leg that was freshly scabbed and was red around it. She said she scratched it on a piece of outdoor furniture. Possibly metal furniture. Do I need to be worried about tetanus even though it wasn't a deep puncture? I'm assuming that it didn't bleed very much since nobody noticed it. I've posted in the delayed forum asking about the tetanus vax. I do want her to have it because I worry about tetanus, but I also really, really worry about the vaccine, so I'm not sure what to do. This has me thinking about it all over again. Thanks!
