Hemorrhoids anyone?

I think I have a hemorrhoids and it is horrible!  I'm trying warm baths and witch hazel pads, but nothing has helped yet. They feel better after a bath though and when I'm lying down, but sitting and walking are uncomfortable. Everything I've read says they go away after birth, but is there anything that will make them go away sooner?  They are really uncomfortable!  And I worry about how it will affect pushing. I imaging it making it more painful or difficult to push. Anyone else have experience with this?

add lots of fiber to your diet so you dont have to push when you go t the bathroom. i take supplements, fiber bars, metamucial. that should give your body a chance for them to heal a bit before baby comes.

I had gotten a little dehydrated and wasn't eating my normal cereal. I ended up getting constipated and ended up with mild  hemis....thankfully they only hurt when I wiped.

All I did was just got back to drinking a lot of water and eating my cereal that is packed with fiber. And I got regular in no time and shortly after they healed. Haven't had an issue since!

Drink at least a gallon of water a day and eat a lot of fiber. I personally eat that organic puffed wheat (in the bags at walmart for like a buck...in cereal isle). If you put honey on it, it tastes like Smacks...lol.

That's what's so frustrating to me - during the second trimester I was super constipated.  Every time I went to the bathroom I was straining. I can't believe I didn't get them then. Now, I haven't been constipated at all.  I've been drinking more fluids than usual too because I was sick with bronchitis last week. I wonder if all the coughing did something?  Anyway, I'll keep up with the fiber and water. Anything else though, because I don't think it's constipation strain that caused it so I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do to help (other than warm baths and tucks pads like I'm doing). THanks!

Honestly for me I think sitting on hard chairs combined with the downward pressure on that entire region due to heavy baby head are the culprit, since I'm really good about fiber ... Not sure what your days are like - but if you sit a lot, can you do it on a yoga ball? That really helps my bum feel better.
