Looking for ideas/resources for botany for 11 year old this summer

I'll be including the 7 year old in our activities, too, but something in the middle school-ish area would be best.

I'm hoping for intro to plant classification, reproduction, cellular structures, photosynthesis and transpiration (without two much in depth chemistry), ideally with lab/hands-on activities and a list of reading books that complement the materials.

Has anyone run across such a selection?

Thanks!

If they like hands on things this might be great:

Great Science Adventures: World of Plants

here's a sample:

I've used parts of these books and like them a lot but my DD likes hands on stuff.

That looks a little bit lower level than I need....I really appreciate your suggestion.
