This name thing is funny. We actually couldn't agree on baby names last time either and then came up with DS's name about 20 minutes after he was born. We'll probably do the same - random last minute name - this time around.
Cristeen I can't believe your gag reflex is so sensitive - that would kill me because my nose is so sensitive still and I cant imagine if I ended up puking (vs just feeling generally grossed out!).
Add me to the 5 am wake ups this AM. I actually was so uncomfortable- back! hips! belly! acid reflux! - lying down that I got up and went for a walk in the arboretum near our house and then came home by 6:45, DS and DH were still asleep. I passed out for about 30 minutes on the couch, and then have been having this dull lower back ache all day since.
Actually I can't tell if this is a lower back pain from poor sleep positions or more of a menstrual type crampiness.
But I have also been having BH all day and have literally been peeing every 15 minutes
I don't remember being this uncomfortable at 38 weeks with DS. I honestly don't. I can't believe I'd just have blocked it out! I actually remember going on a very long hike with DH at 39 weeks?! Could it really just be that I am more tired and just done in taking care of a 3.5 year old this time around? Or my stomach muscles just literally don't exist anymore so holding up this enormous belly is just harder? It's kind of crazy, how exhausted and uncomfortable I am - not crazy as in unique - as it sounds like many of you are feeling this way too, but... Crazy in comparison to how I was last time - when I was also totally huge.
I think the whole puffy thing has made this week particularly hard. Finally got the rings off as I said, but I did gain THREE POUNDS IN ONE WEEK, which my dr said is definitely all water weight in my hands, face and feet/ankles. LOVELY.
Ahhh the pregnancy glow. I think the whole feeling gorgeous and pregnant thing isn't a complete myth - but it definitely happens in the second rather than third trimester
