Last baby

This little babe is likely to be the last addition to our family.  I thought I wanted four children, but after all nausea & headaches I really don't think I want to do this again . . . and that feels ok.

We already have two boys and while I would really like a girl, 3 boys sounds just fine too.  We should be able to find out the gender in a few weeks, as soon as we nail down a provider for parallel care.

Anyone else expecting their last baby?

This very well could be, for the same reason. The MS was waaay worse this time around, and I couldn't even tolerate the anti-nausea meds. I don't know what I'd do if I had more than DS to look after - I was barely getting by looking after myself as it was.

Also my DH feels a lot of stress & pressure to provide, so I think keeping us at 2 will be a much a happier experience for him - so he can still enjoy his family and not feel so stressed. I think I would love 3 in theory, but I'm so happy with the thought of 2 for us.

We don't have a big support network here, which also factors into it. So with DH working so much, everything else falls on me - and sometimes I would really love a little help - and so I think 2 wee ones will be just enough to keep my hands full :)

We also wanted 4 but I've been telling my husband for the last 2 months that I don't think I can do this again. We have 2 girls that I had back to back and we wanted to have another set back to back.
I don't know if it's because I'm now in my 30's or what but I'm seriously doubting I can physically do this again.
Hoping for a boy but if it's a girl I think I'll be content stopping there.

This is going to be my last little bundle also, well the last planned bundle of joy anyway ;) DS is 8, soon to be 9 and while we were LOVING the fact that he is completly independant (from getting up dressed, making his own healthy lunch etc...) we are already looking forward to that again and LO isn't even here yet!!

DH is also stressed about providing for all of us.  I'm a SAHM, but I run a small dog treat business that really just keeps me busy and give me a little extra money for things around the house and to pay on our debt.  I have a elementary teaching certificate and I could always apply for a job or sub (teaching jobs are slim to none here) so we have the ablilty to up our income if needed.   We are working the Dave Ramsey get out of debt plan, with only my student loans to go!!! Well and....

We are also in the process of buying a house, so hoping to move in mid june (and I've already started packing)  We want to be all settled before LO arrives.  We agumented the Dave plan a little (he doesn't want you to buy before you are debt free) because we will be debt free in a year and we really didn't want to move with a tired family and a new little baby (and all the extra stuff that adds!) and we found a house that is inour price range, that we both really like and have no intention of moving from in the next 30 years! The payments are the same as our rent now, and the hosue should be paid off in 8-10 years.  Wow that is awesome to write!!!

This is probably my last, too. I say probably because we this one wasn't planned. I must say it is nice going into it with the mentality that it's my last. When I was discussing with DH having a third one thing I couldn't get away from was that when I was pregnant with #2 I never thought it was my last. I think that closure is important. So, we won't plan anymore but I am always open to more bundles of surprises:)
