Back on primal!

I was following the primal blueprint from july until february, when the crazy cravings hit for bread and pastries and pie and all that stuff. I just gave in to the cravings, because I figured there must be something in them I needed.

Well, in the past week, all my cravings have been for primal compatible foods. It feels so good !

Anyone else primal or back to it?

Yes! And if feels SO good to be back!

 

I was dealing with colitis before I got pregnant and literally could only eat chicken, potatoes, and eggs. That was okay until I got crazy hungry in the first trimester and gained 15 pounds from all of the extra calories/carbs. But for the past few weeks I've been able to eat veggies and fruit again. I'm in heaven! I went a little nuts with the fruit at first because that was what I craved in the first trimester. But I'm just not comfortable with the weight gain, so yesterday I returned full force to a lower-carb, high fat diet. Feeling great! 

 

So glad to know there are others doing this. What's on the menu for today?
