Looking for San Francisco vacation tips

Thread Starter

Our family (DH and DS who just turned 1) will be vacationing in San Francisco at the end of May. Do any of you have tips on finding a toddler-friendly place to stay? Are there any restaurants or activities we should see or avoid? Are there diaper services i can sign up for for the time we're there? I'm excited for this trip, but overwhelmed by the planning that needs to be done...

Thanks in advance!

Talk to Tinytots.com. They're a great diaper service.

AT&T park (baseball) has kid slides inside.

There's a carousel near the Metreon.

Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area!  In San Francisco there's a nature program for small children at the Randall Museum, "Meet the Animals".  Across the bay in Oakland visit Children's Fairyland which was the inspiration for Disneyland.  Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and drive up to Santa Rosa to see the Charles M. Schulz Museum where Charlie Brown, Lucy and all the Peanuts cartoon characters can be enjoyed.  You can read more information about these and other childeren's and family activities in my ebook, "Staycation Destinations - Short Getaways In and Near the San Francisco Bay Area",

Are you renting a car?  If so, you'll need an infant car seat so check to see if your rental agency has one.  Otherwise bring your own.

Enjoy!
